Description
When booking your wedding at Rackleys you have exclusive use of the entire venue & seven acres of grounds surrounded by the Chiltern Hills. Outside you will find a large lawn area with a York Terrace which sweeps around the building adorned with garden furniture. Beyond the lawn there is a wildflower meadow which flows down the hillside.
Rackleys has a beautifully manicured courtyard area which is specially reserved for the grand entrance of the wedding car. Across the courtyard you will find the red bricked pathway that leads to the Registrars Room, further along our elegant Bridal Room where you can get ready for your big day. A unique millstone water feature is nestled within the espalier pear trees creating a picture perfect backdrop.
Onsite Accommodation
Rackleys Farmhouse is a beautifully restored building situated in the courtyard of Rackleys Chiltern Hills. This exceptional house dates back to the 1730’s with many of it’s original features that can still be seen today. The Farmhouse can accommodate up to twelve adult guests in six individually designed luxurious suites.
The Food
Absolute Cuisine are our wonderful in-house catering team offering several different menus. All menus can be viewed on our website with price per head details. You will be invited to a complimentary food tasting where you will go through the dishes and speak with our Head Chef.

Events at Rackleys are managed by our experienced & knowledgeable team. We are on hand for all parts of your planning process and happy to go through any questions you have. When it comes to wedding planning, no question is a silly question!

The venue hire is dependant on the date chosen, this price range shows a venue hire from midweek in January 2025 to a Saturday in High Season 2026.

Included in the venue hire is exclusive use of our stunning venue which is set in 7 acres of grounds. This also includes access to our surround sound system, microphones, tables, chairs, bunting, fairy lights, garden games and outside furniture. You will have an assigned Day Manager and then an Evening Manager, both who will ensure the smooth running of your event.

All weddings are different & unique to each couple, we couldn't pick just one. What is evident, is our couples and their guests certainly know how to party!
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Rackleys is a blank canvas and we want you to paint your picture perfect wedding. Our team are on hand and happy to help with the planning, preparation and running of your day, but it's exactly that - YOUR day. Make sure you have the dream day you've both always wanted.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It's in the small details for us! The little things that really make a wedding unique to you as a couple - whether that's a certain piece of jewellery worn on the day, having your dog as a fondant icing cake topper or photos of you displayed throughout our venue. We love to see how each couple makes their wedding unique.

Unique, stunning, charming, elegant, luxurious.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
There are too many to choose just one!! Rackleys is full of wonderful photo spots but if we had to choose... I think the golden hour shots captured in our wildflower meadow would be very high on the list!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
Not yet... but we have had Professor Green perform at one of our weddings! That was quite the party!
What’s your favourite canapé?
Can we only choose one?! The mini beef burger and mini halloumi burgers always go down very well with guests at a wedding!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
I think we'd have to choose the Cheeseboard. This is always so popular with evening guests as they can graze on it throughout the course of the evening. And besides, who doesn't love cheese?!
What is your venue's most unique feature?
I think we would have to say the Barn - every time a couple walks into the Barn and sees the red brick and beams decorated with beautiful fairy lights infront of the Bay Window, they pause to take it all in. It really is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The Rackleys Team are certainly something special. Just look at our Google reviews, they speak for themselves.
