Nestled within 150 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Hintlesham Golf Club offers picturesque scenery in almost every direction. If you and your partner want a scenic outdoor event, the golf course has many romantic locations with various backdrops ideal for your wedding photos. Inside the clubhouse, the Orchard Room can accommodate up to 100 guests for your ceremony and 150 for the evening reception. If required, the team here will gladly section this space off for smaller gatherings. Complete with dazzling chandeliers , vaulted ceilings with beams wrapped in fairy lights , this provides the perfect place to celebrate your wedding in style.
To help you make light work of your planning process, Hintlesham Golf Club offers a range of mindfully curated wedding packages. Alternatively, the team will happily tailor a bespoke package to suit your specific requirements for your big day. It is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. The food was perfect and got lots of praise from guests. In fact, several people said it was the best wedding meals they've had. We both loved the open plan flexibility of the inside space. Kate the wedding coordinator for the golf club was amazing. She was always prompt at replying to emails, and was super organised on the day and even stepped in to do a last minute dress fluff for me. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that our day ran perfectly. Hintlesham Golf Club was honestly the best venue ever! It is absolutely beautiful inside and outside. Beautifully decorated with Xmas trees, wreaths and twinkly lights. Kate and the team could not have done enough to ensure our day went smoothly and this allowed us to really enjoy everything with our guests. The food was delicious & catered for everyone’s needs. Kate was brilliant working with our photographer to tick off the timeline events without a hitch, inc sparklers & fireworks. We had our wedding December 2023 at Hintlesham Golf Club and what a venue! From when we first booked it right up until the day Kate's communication and recommendations were brilliant. The whole day ran so smoothly and everything had such a nice stress free flow to It, guests were allowed to roam around outside as they pleased giving the chance to take in the beautiful scenery. The venue looked amazing with all the tables and decorations set out and the added lighting in the evening. Recently had our wedding here and can honestly say it was perfect. I held a golf day at Hintlesham last week for 20 friends the day before my wedding for a bit of fun. It was the best day and the team couldn’t have helped more.
