Weekend bookings include multi-day hire from Thursday through Sunday, allowing plenty of time for setup, your celebration, and relaxed post-wedding gatherings like barbecues or brunches with loved ones.

Our wedding was perfect and even better than we could have imagined. Hillfields was the ideal venue for what we wanted, and the staff were amazing from start to finish - helpful, reliable, friendly and accomodating. We loved the panoramic countryside views, the cosy indoors, and the animals on site who made it into some of our photos! Our wedding was perfect and even better than we could have imagined. Completely perfect DIY barn venue!Completely perfect DIY barn venue!
We held our autumnal wedding at Hillfields Farm, and it was the perfect venue in every way! It ticked all the boxes we were looking for - licensed for ceremonies, DIY and dry hire, lovely accommodation on-site, tonnes of character. The setting and barns are gorgeous, especially with the props, fireplace, and sunken seating area. It was amazing to have the barns Thursday-Sunday so we could set up, and have a bbq and bit of a family get-together the evenings before the wedding. I cannot say how helpful and wonderful Becky was, she was so accommodating, calm and responsive, and coordinated everything beautifully on the day - including Mrs Durrell, who was a scene-stealer!We held our autumnal wedding at Hillfields Farm, and it was the perfect venue in every way! We really couldn't fault our wedding day; it was incredible. Hillfields Farm is a stunning location and the barn is well equipped for weddings. Becky and the team were very helpful and made the process easy from start to finish. We were extremely grateful for this as wedding preparations can be stressful enough! Becky's mum even provided us with some sweet peas from the garden for my bouquet because she knew I liked them. The dancefloor was perfect for the ceilidh and the dining area looked fantastic with all the fairy lights and decorations provided. The onsite accommodation was lovely too and very convenient. We would wholeheartedly recommend Hillfields wedding venue for your special day.We really couldn't fault our wedding day; it was incredible. We had such a fantastic wedding at Hillfields. Becky and her family were on hand throughout the planning stages and no question was too small! We met with Becky several times in the run up to the big day. It was so lovely to have a venue we could decorate as we wanted and having the venue days in advance meant no last minute worries! It is a beautiful location and such lovely barns, we would highly recommend it and cannot thank Becky and her family enough. We had such a fantastic wedding at Hillfields. Becky and her family were on hand throughout the planning stages and no question was too small! We met with Becky several times in the run up to the big day. It was so lovely to have a venue we could decorate as we wanted and having the venue days in advance meant no last minute worries! It is a beautiful location and such lovely barns, we would highly recommend it and cannot thank Becky and her family enough.

Made our dream come true by saving our wedding! Made our dream come true by saving our wedding!
Becky was 100% amazing! With 8 weeks to go before our wedding we realised our original venue extension would not be completed. We approached Hillfields and to our utter surprise they had our date available. Becky kept us calm throughout and it was a wonderful experience. The venue is truly beautiful and I was also able to have my horse as part of our day. Every one of our guests complimented us on our choice of venue and professionalism of the team. Honestly the best day of our lives. We have wonderful memories of our happy day. XBecky was 100% amazing! Amazing venue for our perfect wedding!Amazing venue for our perfect wedding!
What a fantastic venue! We managed to finally have our day after postponing due to covid and it was certainly worth the wait. Becky and her family were brilliant at helping us organise, especially on the day when we had a few last minute changes to the guest list (thanks covid!). The location is stunning and the barn is beautiful! We loved having our welcome drinks on the lawn, wedding breakfast in the dining barn and then letting our hair down in the party barn! We also loved the dry hire element which allowed us to organise the day of our dreams, and the props cupboard certainly helped us decorate such a beautiful space. The newly opened guest rooms in the refurbished stables are beautiful and luxurious! Handy for the late finish, and great for having our immediate families together for breakfast the next day. When our wedding day finally came in October 2021 Becky and the team were on hand to assist with anything we needed and having the days before the set up and days after to pack down just made the whole process very enjoyable. On our wedding day it poured with rain, but thankfully the venue spoke for itself and the rain didn’t matter as the barn was so beautiful. A magical unique relaxed wedding venue - we had the perfect day! A magical unique relaxed wedding venue - we had the perfect day!
If you are looking for a magical unique relaxed wedding venue, that you can flex up or down as much as your imagination (and budget) allows, then this is THE PLACE for you! We first talked to Hillfields before lockdown. But didn't even get to visit before the world changed for 18 months. We then contacted them again in early 2021 asking about availability etc. There was an opening for 11th September so we bit the bullet and booked it, unseen. When we were finally allowed to visit (in April when lockdown eased) we were blown away with the barn at Hillfields and the relaxed feel of the place which was perfect for us. We wanted our dog and my horse to join us, and this place let us do that. But it isn't just for animal lovers! Becky our Wedding Coordinator was brilliant from day one up until the day after our wedding that we had to leave. We did a lot of the wedding planning and setting up ourselves, as well as organising our own catering flowers etc, but Becky can help with that if required. In less than 6 months we planned, set up and had the wedding day of our dreams and it was made possible by everyone at Hillfields. There were no silly rules given to us, no limitations as to what we wanted to do and no one telling us we HAD to us certain suppliers, which is quite rare with wedding venues. We, including our family and friends, stayed in the lovely new accommodation they have been this year, our horse stayed in the stables and our dog also stayed with us, but had someone to look after her throughout the day when the wedding got too much! The wedding barn doesn't need a lot of decoration, but there you can use their stock of decorations they have or bring in your own. Its a special blank canvas, that you can make your own and has plenty of space for all guests of all ages. Highlights include the beer donkey who made an appearance, the large lawn that we had our blessing on (can get married in the barn, but this wasn't possible due to availability of registrar), lots of space to mingle, ability to bring in our own wine and drinks without paying excessive fees, a great dance floor and just brilliant people working at Hillfields who made it even more special! We had the BEST DAY and Hillfields is such an amazing venue which every one of our guests were blown away with, it’s a magical place. If making your wedding bespoke to you is what you want, then this is the place. I just wish we could go back and do it all over again!
