Heskin Hall is a Tudor Manor House with beautiful interiors & its own extensive grounds set in lush countryside. We are LICENSED FOR INDOOR & OUTDOOR CEREMONIES and family run. We treat each couple as individuals and create events with you. Everyone is different Our freshly cooked food is made using locally sourced ingredients. Our bar is reasonably priced. A sweeping staircase, paneled rooms & “log fire” for winter are features inside. A lovely garden terrace with outdoor seating & fairly lights & lanterns for spring/summer. Our Bar is reasonably priced - none of the ridiculous prices that take the edge off your day & get guests grumpy. WOODLAND WEDDING/PHOTOGRAPHY AREA ( our "fairy dell"). You can even have a Tipi or marquee supplier sited in our grounds - please ask for more details ! We discuss your ideas - our packages there to give you ideas & an understanding of likely costs. We have a lot of flexibility in style so we have a Hire charge for the Hall for some packages & a pp rate - others are a minimum rate with additional pp rate on top. For example our 2026 rate for 50 day & 100 night Classic Package starts at c£6990 whilst an Evening Wedding starts at £3,600 . Special offers are available for 2025 with Last Minute Offers until teh end of May and the remaining in the year at 20% off Brochure prices

Our 2024 Special Offers (all remaining dates ) are varied from Small is Beautiful Daytime from £1850, to Have & to Hold £5950, Twilight £4600 & Elegance £4350. From the moment we fell in love with the venue upon first viewing, to picking up our stuff the day after our big day, we can’t thank Lynne and the staff enough for making it so easy and memorable. The venue itself is gorgeous, well looked after very charming and all our guests commented how much they loved it. Add bonus the lack of signal keeping the guests off their phones 😉 Don’t worry we were able to get taxis back to hotels. It’s a perfect setting for the fairytale day if you’re after something different and unique. We had our wedding at Heskin Hall in May and everything was perfect. Our coordinator Lynne was great at liaising with us to ensure we had everything we wanted, and she made sure the day went smoothly too. We couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you! My self and my husband were lucky enough to be married at heskin hall last year. We can't thank Lynne and her team enough, for giving us our perfect day. The room was beautiful, the food was amazing and the stunning hall and gardens were perfect for out photos. My self and my husband were lucky enough to be married at heskin hall last year. Heskin Hall Excellence truly went above and beyond. The venue has so much character, with that old-world charm that feels authentic rather than outdated. It manages to be impressive without feeling over the top. The team there were absolutely spot on. They were organised, calm, and clearly experienced. Everything ran smoothly without it feeling too rigid. They were always around when needed but never hovering or getting in the way. The food was a real highlight. You never really expect much from large event catering, but this was genuinely good. It felt freshly made and actually enjoyable rather than just something to fill the time. What really made a difference was the atmosphere. It was welcoming, relaxed, and you could tell the staff genuinely cared about making it a good experience for everyone. Rude, disrespectful and ignorant Rude, disrespectful and ignorant
From the second we paid the venue off it felt as though anything I said fell on deaf ears. We were left in limbo about the ceremony literally up until the day with no official confirmation that we were getting the fairy dell. The wedding planning was made more difficult as Lynne changed my plans a few times but didn't ask me, I was told what to do. She spoke over me and answered me back on several occasions which other people witnessed and were shocked to hear. Both bridesmaids and my mother-in-law said that you Lynne was rude and snappy with them. My mother-in-law left the reception early because of this and my sister asked for a highchair and got snapped at and refused when she was just trying to feed her baby. Even the photographers had mentioned a couple of times that she had been rude to them and I felt like I needed to apologise to them. I printed out clear plans for the reception and was completely ignored. This impacted me and my bridesmaids getting ready and the wedding day. My grandad was meant to be sat on a table near the toilets and the buffet instead he was at the far end of the room and found it incredibly difficult to get to the toilet he had to get a family member to help him everytime he needed to go and we had to get people to get his food for him as he couldn't manage to get to the buffet. I needed some vegan alternatives at the buffet as there were people with allergies and dietary needs. Lynne had confirmed that there would be vegan chicken strips and pudding provided. This didn't happen at all they were left with a couple of Dips, curly fries and a bread bun. The drinks for the toast were a total disaster. Everyone just got made to have prosecco when there were lots of people on soft drinks either because they were driving or T total and one guest is a recovering alcoholic and was highly offended by this. I had been told guests would be asked what they wanted this didn't happen at all. The venue was being undressing 2 hours before it ended! Lynne was taking the bow off the back of a guests chair whilst she was still sat in it. This made guests leave early as they thought they were being kicked out. And the final cherry on the top was finding out that the staff had been using the photo booth more than I had and using favours meant for guests. Love was in the air!Love was in the air!
Lynne and all the staff at Heskin Hall made the wedding of our dreams possible! Decoration was spot on, the mood was great, as the bride I had nothing to stress or worry about except for showing up to marry my groom! I am forever thankful to everyone working here, it will be a night we will remember forever. Lynne and all the staff at Heskin Hall made the wedding of our dreams possible! Lynne from Heskin was amazing, she did exactly what we wanted and even surgested some great ideas, the day ran so smoothly and the food was amazing, we did the first ever smoke and they loved it, I could not recommend Hesken enough, they catered for everyone and a good choice of drink for the night, thank you so much for making our day perfect. We got married at Heskin Hall this week after switching venues with only a few months' notice. We weren't sure if we would have everything sorted in time due to the last minute change but we had nothing to worry about. All the staff are so lovely and can't do enough to help. We chose heskin hall, before we even met anyone, based solely on the appearance, it was everything we were looking for. We then met lynne, the woman running the venue and she was brilliant, she showed us pictures of all the quirky weddings they had hosted and encouraged us to go through with what we wanted ignoring what others thought. So we planned a horror themed wedding and she loved every idea we had. On the day she set the room exactly as we pictured it and spent the entire day ensuring that everything went on as should with no problems.
