From intimate parties of 30 to magnificent celebrations of 650, our versatile ceremony and party rooms will suit every occasion. With marquees overlooking the rolling countryside, medieval woods, lakes and jetties there’s no end to the array or ways we can create lasting memories and photographs of your special day. Add to that, our 9 bedroom 16th Century boutique country house B&B, with a beautiful bridal suite, which is available for individual rooms or exclusive booking for your wedding, hen or stag party. Our glamping opportunities with en suite shower rooms and hot tubs.... there really is no other venue like it. Our dedicated and experienced wedding coordinators understand that all weddings are unique and it’s our pleasure to help create your special day. WOW!

Wow! We just want to say thank you for your services at the weekend, and all your prep work in the lead up to the wedding. Everything we asked for was there and the marquee, Birchley and Guest rooms were spot on. The venue was amazing and all to plan. We were amazed and so were the guests, they can’t stop talking about it! We are really glad we booked this venue, and really appreciate the support from the team during the build up and throughout the day.

More than I could ever expected

We booked this venue and was due to be married in 2020 but due to covid we had to Change dates twice. This venue was very accommodating with changing dates on 2 occasions. During our time we did experience numerous wedding planners come and go which was frustrating as we had to keep explaining our vision so gave us some doubts we wouldn’t get what we wanted. On the 4 week meeting before our actual wedding you meet with the whole Operations team and boy what a team they are. They really know how to pull it of once you meet these all your worry’s anxieties are put to bed. Our wedding went to plan all day, canapés and food was delicious. We had a very large wedding with 250 in the day and then night guests added on. The bar staff ran the bar efficiently and quickly serving our guests. The venue was so good I’m Actually booking for a birthday party. Thanks everyone who made our day very very magical

It was ok

The venue itself is set in a stunning countryside setting and most of the wedding day and planning went without a hitch. However, I do have some gripes... Firstly, prior to the wedding I was informed I could put some music on a CD or a USB and the venue would be able to play this throughout the day. I of course prepared a USB with all the songs and provided this to the venue on the wedding day to be told it’s not working, I was told if I provide a laptop with the music this would be fine which we did - again this wasn’t working. I then gave my phone with the music - no joy. By now majority of guests had arrived and had been sitting with no music, on my wedding day through all the other things I had to deal with I then had to deal with the music system not working. The venue informed me it was working on Saturday when they last used it at another wedding - I didn’t care about Saturday my wedding was on Monday and all I cared about was that it worked on my wedding day, they then told me there was nothing wrong with their system it was very high spec it must be my device (all 3 of my devices must have had problems)! Anyway in the end this was sorted. My wedding was in April just after Easter bank holiday so there were some Easter events going on just before which involved a bus being in the marquee. I was told this would be removed - it was removed but left a couple of 100 yards from the marquee so you could see the eyesore from the marquee - not what I expected at all. As I said overall nice venue not sure if it was worth the money paid - have to pay for every little thing down to the napkins

Guests enjoy the way our venue flows, from the private garden for your arrival drink set alongside our marquee. Wedding breakfast in a large marquee with countryside views. Guests then move through to our Birchley suite with nightclub vibes and a giant disco ball. We also host many Asian wedding celebrations due to our large capacity of 600 and the flexibility to bring your favorite caterer on site!
