Hazlewood Castle

We had our big day at Hazlewood castle on 27th April and I could not recommend the venue enough! From the get go Melissa our wedding co-ordinator was extremely helpful and responsive, she put me at ease in answering the million and one questions going through my mind and made me feel like nothing was too much trouble. We had two meetings with Melissa 6 months prior and 1 month prior to run through all of the detail, numbers etc which made me feel so at ease that everything was in hand...

We had our wedding in the woodlands on 03/06/2024 and couldn't have had a better experience throughout the whole thing. We stayed for an afternoon tea in Feb this year whilst visiting, which was delicious, and the customer service we received from that moment on was impeccable,both in person and via email, and was a very big factor in us choosing hazlewood for our venue (aside from the stunning grounds). Kelly in particular was fantastic throughout and there was never a query that was too much.

We recently provided one of our Ice Cream Bikes for a Wedding at Hazlewood Caslte and what a great venue to get married at. First class staff and a beautiful looking venue. Would highly recommend. Thank you to staff for being very kind and welcoming.

We recently had our wedding at Hazlewood Castle and we can not recommend enough. The grounds are just beautiful and the team are all very professional and extremely accommodating. Our wedding coordinator (Emma) provided us so much guidance in the planning and help pull together our special day. Our emails were answered the same day, which made the run up to our wedding so smooth and calm, there was absolutely nothing for us to be worried or stressed about.

We had our wedding at Hazlewood Castle last Saturday and it was the best day of our lives! The care and attention we received from everyone at Hazlewood Castle made our experience even better and all of our guests have mentioned what a lovely venue it was! We celebrated our wedding at Hazlewood Castle on 30th March 2024 and it was the most magical day of our lives. We have had countless correspondence with wedding coordinator Kelly, who has been so supportive since we booked in December 2021. Nothing was ever too much for Kelly and she listened to everything we wanted and with the help of our suppliers completely brought our vision to life. The Wedding Managers on the day were fantastic.

We had our sons wedding here on the 27th December and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was ok. The food was amazing and the rooms were excellent. There was nothing to complain about whatsoever. Thank you to everyone at Hazlewood .

From beginning to end we had the most amazing experience with Hazlewood Castle as our venue. Kelly was our Co-ordinator and there really wasn't anything she couldn't do for us. She was so friendly, approachable and made us feel like we could chat to her at any time. The venue was always a stand out location for us and we fell in love with it at first sight, any possible doubts we could have had were gone when we met the amazing staff. Every single staff member was so helpful and professional, we ended up booking a few nights in the hotel and treatments at the spa as we were always looking for a reason to come back! On the day of the wedding Lis and Max were just outstanding, their commitment to making sure everything ran smoothly was noticed not just by us but by all our guests. There was never a moment where I had any concerns (this coming from someone who is not very good at handing over control!) as they were always there reassuring us and double checking every detail. Every one of our guests was blown away by the food and the service, with many saying it was the best they had ever had at a wedding. While we had excess of 80 guests, everyone felt treated like an individual and as if their meal had been prepared for them especially. The bar staff worked tirelessly throughout the day and were always making sure everyone was catered for while maintaining effortless professionalism and a friendly smile throughout. We were so pleased to see all our guests were as wowed by the venue as we were when we first saw it. As fans of the historical, it was a dream to get married in a castle. Our guests were all keen to explore and all who booked a room were very impressed. Whilst I know that this venue runs many beautiful weddings through the year, we never once felt like just a number, or just another event to churn out. We were made to feel special and as if we were the only wedding in the world. I put this down entirely to the staff. The team at Hazlewood are held in our highest regards and have our endless gratitude for all the service the delivered on our every visit on the lead up to the wedding, and for giving us the most magical day of our lives. We truly cannot thank them all enough!

We had the best wedding day ever! From start to finish. Melissa helped us plan our day and was a huge help throughout, answering all our questions and helping us plan every little detail. On the day, Adam made sure everything went smoothly. Our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how beautiful the venue was. Such an unforgettable day!

Amazing wedding venue and team We had a Christmas wedding at Hazlewood Castle and the day was absolutely magical. The whole team, particularly Melissa and Lydia were helpful way beyond the call of duty. The venue looked amazing with such lovely Christmas trees and a really special feel to it. We were really looked after by the staff. Melissa co-ordinated our wedding and we met with her a couple of times to discuss details, along with lots of emails - she is a lovely and very approachable person and was always there to help with any detail, no matter how small. On the day itself, Lydia and team were hard-working and professional and looked after us all day, from getting ready in the morning, to making sure that our ceremony was perfect and then on to serving our reception drinks and wedding meal (which was all beautifully presented and really tasty) and setting up for the evening festivities, band and fireworks. We couldn't have had a nicer day and we made lifelong memories in this beautiful venue, surrounded by lovely people. Very highly recommended if you are looking for a wedding venue. Huge thanks to all involved.
