Our five function rooms of varying sizes mean the hotel is truly adaptable and can host ceremonies and receptions for ten to 100 guests. No matter the size of your guest list we will have the perfect-sized room for your day!
Built in 1837, the former Victorian mansion, along with its green gardens and pond provides a stunning backdrop for your wedding photography all year round. We only host one wedding a day so you’ll have free reign over the grounds throughout the day allowing for those personal touches, such as lawn games, an outdoor drinks reception or sunset photos. The privacy that the gardens give you will make you forget that you are only a short distance away from the city centre!
Yours will be the only event held on the day meaning the team will be on hand to help you and your guests with anything you might need!
With 38 boutique hotel rooms, extensive parking for your guests and free wifi, we’ve also got the practicalities covered as well. To top it all off, you’ll be waited on hand and foot by our professional and attentive event staff and your accommodation for the evening will be our stunning wedding suite.

Congratulations on your engagement! We are here to guide you through your wedding from start to finish. Initially, we are available to show you around the venue and help you imagine your special day with us. Following your booking, we are happy to answer all of your questions, meet with you to discuss plans, and be your main point of contact. We will also be there on the wedding day to help set up, guide you through the ceremony and then the Halifax Hall operations team will take over.

She always answered our questions promptly and helped ease our nerves along the way. On the day she was there to check on us both in the morning and she made sure the wedding venue, Halifax Hall, was decorated beautifully. She was on hand all day to ensure everything was going smoothly and honestly we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The day was perfect. All our guests commented on how good the day was and how much fun they had. Food was lovely and drinks were reasonably priced. We had the bridal suite to stop overnight and it was so nice. It was clean with fresh towels and anything you needed. Our guests had standard rooms and they said how nice they were. The breakfast was nice aswell with loads to choose from. All staff were brilliant, especially Hannah who couldn’t have done enough for us! We had the most amazing day and even the weather was kind to us. The venue is beautiful and allowed us to share the day with all of our closest friends and family. We can offer bespoke packages, food menus, and even bar menus to ensure that our couples have a perfect day that fits their personalities. We don't have set packages as they may not suit everyone's tastes, you can build your unique package with the help of our team!
