Whitley Hall is one of South Yorkshires premier wedding venues and it's not hard to see why! A 16th century Manor House nestled in a valley in the rolling South Yorkshire countryside and surrounded by mature woodland this hotel really does have the WOW factor from the moment you turn on to the driveway.
With two beautifully appointed wedding suites catering for up to 110 seated guests for a daytime reception and up to 160 for your evening celebrations there are rooms and packages to suit every taste and budget.
Both wedding suites come complete with their own private facilities and gardens and in addition both have outdoor ceremony areas and outdoor bars available to hire exclusively for you and your guests.
We are also pleased to offer exclusive use of the hotel and grounds ensuring that yours is the only wedding taking place on that day and giving you full access to all the hotel facilities and grounds.
Forever Yours styling consultancy are also based on site and provide those all important finishing touches for your wedding day from complete events styling to stationery and floristry. With the convenience of everything being located under one roof we really can take all those stresses away and work with you every step of the way to create the wedding of your dreams.

We have created three packages to choose from our Harmony, Enchanted and Eternal Packages. All packages include: venue and indoor civil ceremony room hire, all cutlery, crockery and glassware, white linen table cloths and napkins, a master of ceremonies, accommodation for the happy couple, resident DJ, a drinks package including arrival drink, wine with the meal and a toast drink, 3 course wedding breakfast and an evening buffet.
We are also pleased to offer an exclusive use package which includes everything you need to create a wedding day to remember! Based on 60 guests and starting from just £6500 this package includes: Exclusive venue hire, 3 course wedding breakfast, reception drinks, wine with dinner, toast drink, evening buffet, outdoor ceremony area, outdoor bar, twinkle backdrop, flowers by Forever Yours to the value of £250, chair pads and sashes, resident DJ, 25 en suite bedrooms for your guests including a full English breakfast, private use of hotel grounds. Extra guests can be added on to these numbers up to 110 guests in total for the day reception and 400 in total for the evening reception.
£3000+ can also be save on the exclusive use price by passing on the accommodation costs to your guests which we are happy to manage for you. This means you can have the the whole hotel to yourself for the entire day from just £3500!!

From the very first time we entered, all the staff have been very helpful and friendly. Fast responses to queries and very welcoming. The wedding itself went smoothly and everything was perfect from start till midnight. The food was incredible and all well timed. The venue looks incredible. All the guests had nothing but nice things to say about the wedding, venue and staff. We will be sure to be back for our anniversary ❤️We got married here in April and it was all we'd wished it'd be. The venue is in such a scenic place, with the perfect backdrop to our wedding photo's. During the day, the place is so calm, with peacocks entertaining our guests and a beautiful lake view! At night time, the gardens are lit up beautifully. Most of our guests spent the night on the patio, peacefully catching up, and taking in the scenic surroundings. We can't thank our wedding coordinators enough: nothing was too much trouble and I felt at ease knowing every detail had been taken into account. The day ran smoothly with the help of Callum informing us of the timings. We had a projector for speeches, which was set up and ready, again to take away any undue stress. The wedding coordinators listened to our quirky ideas! The decor we provided ourselves, which was set up and ready exactly to our requirements (with some improvements made!) The chair sashes were provided by the Forever Yours Team, which gave the venue that extra touch. We were able to leave our wedding decor the day prior in a safe room, ready to set up the following morning. Throughout 18 months of planning, the team were at hand to answer any questions we had regarding decor, table layouts, table plans. Absolutely all our needs were taken into account, often getting back to us quickly. The meals were absolutely beautiful and I would love to return to sample more dishes! My only issue, is that I would love to revisit the day again! Thank you once again for a day to remember! Thank you to all the team at Whitley Hall. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
We have had so many unique and special weddings at Whitley Hall it's impossible to chose just one! We do love a good themed wedding though so a few that stand out are medieval, halloween, great Gatsby, Disney, Art Deco, and Vintage. It's always great to see the imagination and skill from our bride and grooms to make their wedding unique to them.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
100% don't panic!! Make a list and work through it step by step. It's easy to become overwhelmed with so many things to organise so just do them one by one and it will all come together in no time. Also, if you're struggling for ideas or stuck on where to find something then speak with your venue, chances are they'll have some great ideas and will know the best places to source items form.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
The bride was a wedding planner so essentially planned her whole wedding start to finish.
