Venue Henley, Greenlands Hotel

We would highly recommend Greenlands as a wedding venue. The riverside setting is spectacular, the food is delicious and the staff are all very friendly and dedicated to their jobs. We found it really helpful having Sophie as a wedding coordinator, as it took lots of the pressure off us, and allowed us to enjoy the fun parts of the day. Our guests had a lovely time and particularly commented on the beautiful setting and the high quality of the service. Having the hotel on site was really useful.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Greenlands for the most magical and perfect day. Planning a wedding during the pandemic was challenging but it really felt a breeze compared to what it could have been if we didn’t have the support from Abbie at Greenlands. The space is amazing, you have modern options for your wedding as well as classic and traditional. The venue were keen to do what we wanted and make it work. We had some particular requests that they just made work without any hassle.

Very professional, helpful and friendly service before, during and after the event. We got so many compliments from guests on the choice of venue, the food, the staff. Our day went perfectly thanks to great planning beforehand and management on the day. A wonderful setting for our special day that we would highly recommend, especially as we love the river.

Our wedding celebrations at Greenlands were perfect and could not have run more smoothly from start to finish. Dereck and Paula were instrumental in organising and delivering the entire package, and we were thrilled with the service we received at all points during the planning stage too. From the outset we knew exactly what we wanted and they listened carefully, helping us to put together our special day, and even where last minute difficulties arose, nothing was too much trouble. All our family and friends were equally as impressed and received excellent service from every member of the team. We would highly recommend a wedding or other celebration here as not only has the Thames provided a beautiful back drop for our photographs, but the attention to detail and care for the day exhibited by the staff made it absolutely magical.

Visually a perfect venue, amazing photo options with the classic building, river backdrop, trees, small garden, green.. * Abbie from Greenlands (wedding coordinator) made sure every detail was seen to without causing any stress on our parts. Matt and I cannot thank you enough for hosting the most wonderful wedding day for us. The combination of Henley Greenlands being the most perfect venue and you and Paul being so fantastic made for a very special day. We have had SO much amazing feedback from our friends and family who couldn’t compliment the venue highly enough. From the spacious rooms for the drinks reception to the delicious food, attentive staff and the lovely setting, it was all thoroughly appreciated. The fact that it was a miserably wet day made no difference at all because there was so much space inside for all of our guests to mingle without feeling squashed into one room. The waiting staff were so friendly as well as being very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. This was also the case with you both when it came to planning the day. From the outset you were so professional yet friendly and accommodating. Our guests were also very complimentary about their accommodation which was very convenient, clean and tidy and good value. I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Henley Greenlands to anyone wishing to hold a wedding there - it really was absolutely brilliant!

Thanks so much for all your help in the lead up to our wedding. We had such a wonderful weekend! The whole thing was completely joyful! Please do thank your catering staff for us: the BBQ food on the Friday night was excellent – people really enjoyed it. The amazing food and service at the wedding breakfast, the antipasti, BBQ and desserts were fantastic and lots of people had said it was one of the best wedding breakfasts they have ever had and it was definitely our favourite. We couldn't have done it without you both and it was lovely not to have to think about anything on the day as I knew it was all being taken care of.
