Huge congratulations on your engagement and thank you for your interest in Glyngynwydd, a rustic, honest wedding venue in the Heart of Wales.
An utterly gorgeous backdrop in an unspoilt valley with 12 acres of land that includes a woodland and a pond for your wedding photos. We offer a relaxed approach to planning your wedding without pages and pages of things you're not allowed to do. It's your day and we strive to make it everything you could wish for.
As a venue we are licensed for the following: Civil Ceremonies, Blessings, Civil Partnerships, we also welcome Humanist Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows.
We have 2 packages our All Year Round Wedding & our Micro-Wedding.
For both it's the weekend (3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday). We require a £500 deposit at the time of your booking and the balance to be paid 3 months before the big day. The property is available for additional nights either side for £500 per night.
If you’re stuck for ideas for catering and entertainment, we are more than happy to assist with this and make your day extra special!

Exclusive use of the grounds, 2 ceremony areas, wedding barn, communal stables from 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday.

The price includes full use of the venue, our new honeymoon suite, the communal stables and 5 self catering holiday cottages (sleeping 19) for 2 nights. We can also offer additional accommodation of 7 sleeping pods which sleep 14 (double beds) at £150 per pod for the weekend, so more guests can stay on site.

The cost is very reasonable, Carla is excellent at communication (both in the lead up to and on the weekend of the wedding) the venue is beautiful and you can personalise it however you like! From first making contact through to our wedding day itself the process was as simple as it possibly could be. With one clear rule "Leave the venue as you find it (don't burn it down)" we had all the space to let our creative juices flow and create a wedding that was very much unique to us. The accommodation options on site are of a great standard and so valuable for our friends and family traveling from all over the UK to the venue. Carla offered great support and ideas, but was never imposing, she helped with deliveries before and collections after the wedding and was about on the day to keep everything running smoothly. It really was a perfect day. Just the most brilliant venue, we cannot speak highly enough of Carla and her wedding barns. The ceremony in the woods was not only unique but also magical and perfectly portrayed our love for the great outdoors. The surroundings were stunning making for sensational photos. Carla (venue owner) was very approachable and would try her very best to make our dreams a reality whilst also keeping in mind our budget. Wouldn’t change a thing! It's in a great location for the lovely scenery, there is a good variety of buildings within the venue making it very versatile and the woods are beautiful for the ceremony. Carla was really helpful and just got on with dealing with any issues which arose and did some babysitting when needed without asking. All in all, very impressed and can't wait to find a reason to visit again!I was recently married here and absolutely love this venue. It was so magical to get married in the woodland. It's such a beautiful place in a gorgeous part of Wales. It's great that you can put your own stamp on the venue decoration - we had festival flags, bunting and ribbons. Carla is amazing and responded so quickly to queries I had.We had our wedding at Glyngynwydd and we couldn't have chosen a better venue, we loved it and our guests loved it too. It was so magical to get married in the woodland. It's such a beautiful place in a gorgeous part of Wales. Set against beautiful rolling hills, with woodland and even a little stream on site you have the most amazing backdrop for a wedding. Not only that but you are able to plan the weekend exactly how you want it from decorations, to games, to suppliers, to on site accommodation and beyond. We're not traditional in anyway so to have found a place where we could bring to life our colourful, chaotic, joyous wedding was magical and we are so grateful to Carla for letting us do what we wanted. You only have to look at the venue's instagram to see how versatile it can be and how every couple has gone with something different and unique to them. Carla is a wonderful host always responding quickly to any questions, allowing us to visit the venue multiple times to take measurements etc. and even being on hand on the day rounding up our guests to make their way to the ceremony.
