Wow just amazing, Sophie, Hayley and all the team went above and beyond to make our day just special. All the food eaten over the whole weekend was sooo tastey! Our room we stayed in was just gorgeous, views were just breath taking! We can’t wait to pop back for a cheeky nights stay. Lots of love Mr & Mrs Sharples.We got married at the Glendower last Saturday! Wow just amazing, Sophie, Hayley and all the team went above and beyond to make our day just special. From the first moment we stepped in to meet Sophie the wedding planner we were made to feel so welcome. Every staff member made us feel so wonderful on our special day. The hotel were so accommodating, professional and always had a smile on their faces. I would suggest to anyone to get married here, the food was excellent and just everything executed perfectly. Thank you Glendower you are all amazingMy wife and I got married here on Thursday and we had just the best day ever. From start to finish we were made to feel at ease and every effort was taken to accommodate for all of our requests. Sophie, the wedding planner, was brilliant. Patient when we had 100 questions to ask and clarified everything with us to ensure we were comfortable and knew exactly what we would get out of our big day. The whole experience was fantastic and wasn't difficult at any point. Our wedding went off without a hitch and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. Nothing was to much trouble and we even managed to get the bar tender dancing. All staff very polite and Vicky was on hand to help with anything. Great nights sleep by all of our guests with lots of compliments regarding staff and hotel and not a negative comment in sight. Breakfast was delicious and tasty and excellent staff(especially the Scottish waiter sorry didn’t get his name) interacting with the children and very attentive. Sophie made us feel at ease with everything and I had no worries leaving my wedding in her hands. When we went for our trail meal a few months ago we met one of the managers called Stephen he made that much of an impression on us we requested him to work our day which he was happy too even though it was the champions league final and he’s a Liverpool fan - bonus points for that. He made us feel like nothing was too much trouble, even gave us That personal touch, made it easier that he completely got our sense of humour too. I didn’t really meet Hayley until the day before so I was abit nervous, but honestly she got me and every thing I visioned she got it perfectly she was absolutely amazing even the little things like bringing a fan up for one of my bridesmaids. You are all our hero’s, it’s thanks to you all that I was so chilled (even though I was bridezilla leading up to it) it was even better seeing smiling faces all day!! Infact all the staff that worked our night/day was so happy and made us feel relaxed. Honestly cannot fault them at all. Even the room where we stayed and the food was amazing I know they must do 100’s of wedding a year but they made it feel like it wasn’t just a day to them, we will forever be grateful for everything they did for us.
