You will receive our full attention, allowing us to deliver a tailored, high-touch experience from first enquiry to final farewell.
The barns themselves, set within private grounds and surrounded by open fields and ancient woodland, provide a serene backdrop for stylish celebrations. Blending weathered timber beams and exposed brick to create a warm, inviting atmosphere full of character and charm. Hand built, with love and a deep connection to the local environment our exclusive-use wedding venue is the perfect location.
Whether you’re exchanging vows under open skies or dancing the night away beneath twinkling fairy lights, the venue offers a timeless, romantic setting perfect for couples seeking a relaxed yet unforgettable celebration in nature’s embrace.

The venue is beautiful, yet rustic and relaxed, which really helped set the tone for the day. Despite hosting over 100 guests during our meal, the barn stayed cool and never felt overcrowded. The venue also has multiple side areas such as a covered terrace, granary and side barn, which was great for guests who wished to have a quiet moment to themselves. Gildings Barns hosted our wedding this August and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is beautiful, yet rustic and relaxed, which really helped set the tone for the day. No. 1 tip is to ensure that not only is your perfect venue available on your chosen date, but that the time you want for your ceremony is available too.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
It never ceases to amaze us just how creative our couples can be. Every single wedding has an element that captures something that is unique and incredibly special to that couple.

We have been fortunate enough to welcome several celebrities to the Barns, but confidentiality of course applies!
What’s your favourite canapé?
We love them all, our trusted catering partners are always coming up with something new and even more delicious.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
We are all in bed by midnight getting ready for the next wedding.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The main Barn was hand built with oak timbers cut to follow the grain of the wood (unlike most 'straight-sawn' timber buildings), and simply has to be seen to fully appreciate just how beautiful it is.
