Gate Street is a renowned wedding location with over 20 years experience. Positioned just south of Guildford, our rural setting makes for an enchanting place to host your special day. Nestled within our regenerative farm, Gate Street is a versatile venue with multiple spaces to optimise your wedding experience. The rustic Barn is the perfect place for your ceremony, before you head out to The Orangery and through the Pheasantry into the landscaped wedding garden for your drinks reception.
As an all-weather venue, Gate Street is the perfect wedding venue for any season of the year, come rain or shine. The Orangery and Pheasantry are connected to The Barn enabling you to effortlessly move between spaces as the day unfolds and enjoy your day no matter the weather.
The Atrium is an additional space adjacent to The Barn allowing an abundance of light, plus extra seating can be provided here for the wedding breakfast. As the evening draws in, the elegant chandeliers and sconces in The Barn create the perfect ambience for a night of dancing and celebration.
We have 2 outdoor licensed ceremony spaces. The Woodland Wedding sit is a unique and magical area, just a short, 5-minute walk from the main venue. The other option is the beautifully manicured Farmhouse Avenue which is nestled within the landscaped Farmhouse gardens.
We have two “getting-ready” rooms; The Tack Room and The Old Dairy. These have been newly refurbished and are complete with large mirrors and cosy armchairs, to provide the perfect spot for couples to ready themselves in style, before walking down the aisle.
The well-maintained gardens and rural setting is stunning all year round with plenty of spots for the perfect photo to be captured. Our Longhorn Cattle are a firm favourite when it comes to a unique photo opportunity!
You can keep your friends and family close with our range of luxury on-site accommodation, just a stone's throw away from The Barn, that can be booked separately.

The suppliers (most of which are either recommended by the venue or work there frequently) put us so at ease with how easily they cracked on with things- we couldn't be happier with everyone we picked, but by far our best decision was the venue. From the moment we walked in, back in Jan 2020(!) we were in love, and the team have made everything so straight-forward and are always so lovely to chat to. A special thank you to Annabel who was incredible on the day and made sure everything went exactly to plan - she really put us at ease and nothing was to much trouble. Thank you so much for helping us create a day we will never forget- we're so sad it's all over but very excited at all that is now to come! We could not recommend this venue any higher, the barn itself is beautiful and the service is easily the best in Surrey! Thank you for everything!
