- AAmy11/11/2025Christmas stays Christmas staysSpent Christmas week here with my family and it was absolutely magical. We used all 6 bedrooms, and it was great having the children’s bedroom with the extra beds in too. I cooked a full Christmas dinner for 14 people, and the kitchen is my actual dream. Why have one oven when you can have 3? The bar is also brilliant for entertaining if you’re having guests over like we did on Boxing Day. Roy the caretaker was invaluable, he lives on the grounds and is so prompt in his WhatsApp responses which Spent Christmas week here with my family and it was absolutely magical. The house, the grounds everything is amazing! Very clean! Roy the owner is only next door, lovely man and very helpful, but also just leaves you to enjoy your stay! The tech is the house is next level, the space! There really isn’t anything negative to say about our stay!Our friends and family booked this beautiful house as a surprise for our Hen Do, we aren’t very often speechless, but wow! The house, the grounds everything is amazing! Very clean! Roy the owner is only next door, lovely man and very helpful, but also just leaves you to enjoy your stay! The house was spotless & was equipped with everything you would ever need. The onsite managers Ella & Roy were always on hand if you ever needed anything! I honestly could not fault this house & we had such a great weekend!Fernside house & barns is the most gorgeous house! I have just returned from a hen weekend & it was perfect. The setting itself, the views and the grounds are amazing enough, but the site manager Roy was absolutely fantastic he could not do enough to help and make sure our day and whole weekend was so special! Anna the make up artist made my bridal experience perfect and feel like a princess on my wedding day! We could not recommend Fernside enough if you are looking for the perfect settingAfter just having the most special day our lives here, our wedding, we can honestly say this place is incredible. The setting itself, the views and the grounds are amazing enough, but the site manager Roy was absolutely fantastic he could not do enough to help and make sure our day and whole weekend was so special!
