Our country manor house has a classic British elegance to it; that coupled with the Cotswolds’ unquestionable air of romance, makes it the perfect spot for your special day.
From the moment you drive down the sweeping driveway, you can’t help but fall in love with the charm of Ellenborough. We are nestled on 90 acres of rustic parkland beneath the stunning Cleeve Hill, near Cheltenham. Walk through the hotel’s original 15th century front door and you’ll discover the stylish interiors that give a nod to the hotel’s past, whilst remaining very much in touch with modern tastes.
At Ellenborough Park, we offer bespoke wedding services to each couple ensuring that no two weddings are the same. From small and intimate occasions to extravagant exclusive use events, your day will be tailored around you, as a couple. Our hands-on events team will work with you both, to turn your dream wedding into a reality; promising to treat your day with the attention it deserves so that it runs perfectly from start to finish.

The venue was stunning (even in the drizzle), the actual room looked amazing with the flowers and furniture, the staff throughout the hotel were courteous, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them and the food was absolutely delicious. The canapés were to die for and the roast beef was so succulent and tender. Fantastic choices! From our first meeting I was confident that you would deliver everything possible to make this a memorable day for us and we were not disappointed. Your kindness, attention to detail and genuine desire to host an unforgettable day were evident and very much appreciated. We could not have chosen a better venue. Ellenborough Park is a stunning hotel that delivers the very best and we cannot thank Lisa and her whole team enough for making our day so very special. In fact most venues had multiples couples crammed into one room, so it was a real delight being shown to a private room where we went on to have the most delicious food. We also appreciate how accommodating you've been throughout this whole process and how easy you've been to get hold of. You certainly made the venue side of things delightfully straightforward. I also want to say how reasonable the package is and its obvious why Ellenborough won Gloucestershire venue of the year award recently. I would like to extend a very big and gushing thank you to Ryan who was nothing short of amazing on the day and also at our menu tasting. He was patient, helpful, kind and very efficient. Nothing was too much for him and I know it must have been a tiring day. I also want to add how polite and friendly the porters and reception team are, I didn't catch the porters name but he had remembered us from the day before and I was really touched that he asked how the wedding went. If you could pass my thanks on to the porter team and the reception team for being so friendly and hospitable whenever we came for a meeting and for the lovely note they left in our room the night of the wedding, it would be much appreciated. On the day itself we were confident that every detail had been thought of and taken care of, and that was proven when the whole event went off without a hitch, from the decorations to the coordination of suppliers to the catering. The team looked after us brilliantly and we were able to enjoy every second of our day with our guests! Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
While all our couples and their weddings are so unique and personal to us we couldn't possibly pick our favorite. We do however have some highlights, these include:
a live acoustic musician setting the backdrop for drinks and canapes in the sunshine, bridesmaids & best men on horse-shaped space hoppers racing towards the racecourse and a retro-canape menu handwritten by our bride & groom. We always look forward to welcoming our couples back on their anniversary!
