The Glass House is a unique new venue in the grounds of Staining Lodge Golf Course. An elegant and versatile venue with tall windows that wrap around the room showcasing a stunning backdrop of the Fylde countryside and long bi-fold glass doors that open onto a private landscaped garden.
The Glass House
- Is licensed for civil & partnership ceremonies (if required)
- Holds a maximum of 150 seated guests (250+ for an evening party)
- Exclusive to you and your guests throughout the wedding day (from 10am until 1am)

Our full-day exclusive venue hire is ideal for couples planning religious or cultural weddings who want the freedom to bring in their own caterers and traditions. You’ll enjoy private use of The Glass House, landscaped gardens, bridal dressing room from 9am, private bar & entrance, tables, Chiavari chairs, uplighting, and a dedicated coordinator.
For Muslim and Hindu couples seeking a stress-free experience, we’ve partnered with Makaan Events to create a special collaboration package, including halal-friendly catering, décor, and much more – blending our stunning venue with their cultural expertise.
Capacity: 50–150 seated guests, up to 200 evening guests.

Only booked 3 month in advance and for that 3 month everything was organized perfectly. We picked to have there own catering and am glad I did a three course meal with beef roast for main and it was to die for everyone said the same. The staff was so helpful throughout everything Cieran was amazing couldn’t have done it without him. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Made my dream wedding come to life. I can’t thank them enough. I had the bestest day ever I loved everything. I can’t thank the glasshouse enough, made my dream wedding come true I couldn’t have picked a better venue. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. Communication was great, nothing was too much trouble, and when we arrived on the day of the party, the venue looked perfect. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding here has been different and fabulous in its own way however I love the creative aspect of my job and I do like a theme so one of my favourite past weddings has to be a funfair/Blackpool theme which was reflected in all the little details and in a fun yet tasteful way. I also love a bit of glamour and am really enjoying helping plan my brother's wedding which will be a New Years Great Gatsby black and gold theme. My favourite aspect of my job is giving each couple the best day of their lives in a way that reflects them as a couple.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Timings and the flow of the day are key, as is keeping your guests well fed, I find guests rarely comment on the smaller details like favours but I do hear them complaining if they get hungry or have to wait around too long for photographs- there's nothing worse than seeing a guest buying crisps from the bar.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
At a Blackpool themed wedding there were postcards of a couple for guests to leave their wishes on instead of a guestbook which I thought was a lovely touch.

Elegant, bespoke, dramatic, pretty, sophisticated
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Depends if you like sweeping countryside views, wooded areas or a cool brick wall - we have them all!
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
A few Blackpool & Manchester United footballers and an international rugby player have had their weddings/events here.
What’s your favourite canapé?
Mini fish and chip cones!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
A real pizza oven goes down well or street food style.
What is your venue's most unique feature?
The views of the countryside and golf course are spectacular and it's a really elegant blank canvas for any bride or groom to put their stamp on.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
The bespoke nature of weddings here, we do offer packages, but I try to tailor each wedding to fit and reflect the couple.
