Oaks Farm

Oaks Farm have been incredible from start to finish. From the moment we knew this was the venue for us until the day after the wedding itself they have been so well organised and professional every step of the way. Needless to say we couldnt have had the day we had without them. This is such a gorgeous venue in the heart of Croydon with great connections to London and beyond. John was there the whole time making sure everything ran so smoothly on the day. There were moments where the stress of planning would get to us but John and Katie had such a calming effect on us that it really helped reassure and give us peace of mind that all was in hand and the day went brilliantly. They were also incredibly flexible and dealt with changes so well that we simply could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team and it was so lovely to share such a beautiful day with our friends and family all of whom were so impressed by the beautiful surrounding scenery and the decor and detail of this lovely venue. Equipped to have quite a decent sized wedding but also felt it could pull off a more intimate wedding which is something we were going for despite the guest list of 80+. What also helped was the recomended suppliers they use (caterers, DJ, photobooth etc.) are all so professional and know the venue so well that everything just ran so smoothly and like clockwork it all fell in to place. In fact there were times even at the end of the night where our guests needed some help and this was something that was beyond the call of duty for the team at the venue but they were more than happy to help. We found this to be incredible and really show how much they would go the extra mile to help make the day what it was. We can't thank Oaks Farm enough for eveything and would joke that we wish we could get married again just so we could get to use them once more! We are eternally grateful to them for helping make this day one we will take with us forever.

We were very blessed on the day, it was the only sunny day of the month and even if it was cold, the guests we’re wandering around the venue and taking photos themselves of every corner, tree and detail. Choosing Oaks farm was the decision ever, the stable, orangery, gardens and reception room were beautiful and made our wedding day even more special. We recommend going to visit and check the site, that made us fall in love with the place.

10 Flavours catering was a great success. We had so much lovely feedback on the food, particularly the apple tart! The food was delicious. We are glad we had a tasting with you prior to the day as we actually had time to savour the food then, where as the actual day was pretty busy! Please say a bit thank you to your team who worked incredibly hard and ran a smooth service.

The venue was everything and more! It was exactly what I had wanted for my big day! Everything ran smoothly, from the beginning to the end. Katie and John were a massive help – Thank you for everything. Spice Village catering was excellent and there was a nice selection of food.

The venue was beautiful. The room changes were swift and done well. The guests kept praising the aesthetic. The cottage and breakfast were great to end with. 10 Flavours food was great, good portion sizes, drinks were readily available, staff were very helpful. The table layout was perfect. We might have ended up with a bit too much food in the end, but better than running out. The Orchard Bar was done well and the drinks selection was good.
