From the moment of sending and enquiry to leaving the day after the wedding, the whole team at Stirk House could not do enough. Every email with questions was responded to within a day, they made planning the wedding an absolute breeze. The day its self was just WOW, everything was perfect. Dave made the day and we’ve received so many compliments about the wedding. I would book this venue over and over again.

We got married here on the 26/07/2024 after 2 years of planning and we couldn’t have asked for a better day or a better venue. The grounds of stirk house are absolutely stunning we got the most amazing wedding pictures with the surroundings. The staff over the past 2 years and especially on our wedding day were absolutely incredible from the wedding team (Danielle, Lucy & Molly) and planners to the catering/bar staff and reception staff. A massive shout out to Dave the toast master who just absolutely made the day, made sure everything was good and kept checking in on me and my husband, he sorted all the music and went above and beyond. All of our guests commented on how good Dave was. The staff really couldn’t have done anymore to make us feel at ease- the day ran so smoothly. The wedding breakfast food was absolutely incredible, so many of our guests commented about how good the food was. What a spectacular venue Stirk House is! Right from the very beginning Lucy, Danielle and Molly were incredibly helpful and informative. Throughout the planning stages they made us feel that our wedding was a priority and did not hesitate to answer our questions (a lot!!) with ease. They made our planning less stressful as they made us feel calm and assured and we knew with their professionalism that everything was in good hands. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and that is thanks to this outstanding venue and the wonderful staff that uphold such high standards. Everything was perfectly executed and ran smoothly which meant that we could enjoy the day without any worries at all. Big thanks to Dave, we do not know what we would have done without him. He was a massive support to us and very much valued throughout the entire day and our friends and family loved him! We would love nothing more than to relive the day all over again and we have not hesitated to recommend the venue to other people looking for somewhere to get married. The location, stunning venue, cleanliness, gorgeous food, drinks, rooms, staff members all contributed to creating an extraordinary atmosphere and experience, one that we, our friends and family will never forget. We are extremely grateful for Stirk House and it holds a very special place in our hearts.

We got married at Stirk House last week, and we could not be happier that we did. I think it's fair to say we were both a little bit nervous in the run up to the day, but knowing the amazing weddings team at Stirk House were there throughout the whole process to answer any questions massively put us at ease. On the day itself, we didn't have anything to think about at all. We felt absolutely safe in the knowledge the team had everything taken care of, and we were not disappointed! From the morning getting ready, to the extra little touches provided throughout the day, to the evening reception. It was all perfect and we cannot explain how much fun we had. Obviously a special shout out has to go to Dave for the day of the wedding, he is absolutely incredible at what he does, and knows exactly how to get everyone involved. All we can say is we cannot recommend Stirk h House and the whole team more, and we are absolutely BUZZING that we were lucky enough to celebrate our special day here! X

We recentlyw had our wedding at Stirk House and I can honestly say we chose THE BEST venue for the day. From first contact the wedding team were amazing. Their responses were quick and we were able to set up meetings to book and discuss the wedding with ease. They went above and beyond to meet our needs of our special day and were extremely accommodating of change’s especially due to us having 3 young children. We booked a pre wedding meal the night before the wedding and the food was amazing along with the staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. On the morning of the wedding everything had been planned perfectly and the staff were on had to help everything run smoothly. Throughout our wedding day and whole stay at Stirk House all the staff were just outstanding. A special mention to Dave who was just perfect at keeping the day running smoothly and organising people into the right places at the right time. The food was amazing and so many people have commented on how beautiful it was. The drinks service was very efficient and the bar staff were very friendly. So many people have commented to us how much of a wonderful day it was. A big thank you again to Stirk House, the wedding team and all the staff. The day went exactly as we’d hoped and so fast that we wish we could do it again.

We had our beautiful wedding at the Stirk House Hotel on Saturday 8th July 2023 and we wanted to say a massive thank you to each and every one of them for making our wedding day perfect. Being a part of the weddings team at Stirk House myself, we knew there was no other the place in the Ribble Valley we would have rather of got married. The venue has everything to offer. It has breath taking views looking over Pendle Hill and stunning grounds to get gorgeous couple/ group photographs. Not only are the grounds amazing outside, even inside the venue it is picturesque. It is beautifully decorated with modern décor that complements the original features of the building. The maintenance team work hard to maintain the upkeep of the building and the grounds to provide endless photo opportunities for couples. The accommodation on site and facilities are incredible. The staff are by far the best and provide the most professional/ attentive service throughout our wedding journey. When we initially booked, Danielle, the wedding and events manager was the best from start to finish. She gave the best advice, provided us with brilliant recommendations and supported us prior, during and after the wedding. Her attention to detail is impeccable and she put lots of time and energy into making our wedding the most memorable day for us. She couldn’t have done enough for us and the big day wouldn’t of been the same without her. A massive thank you to her. Dave- What can I say? He was great! He got everyone in the right places at the right time and made sure the day ran smoothly. He got everyone to their feet and made sure everyone was having a ‘BUZZING’ time. We couldn’t thank him enough. They are both a credit to the Stirk House Hotel. The chefs were brilliant at helping us decide our menu choices and advising us what complements each food option best. We always knew the quality and presentation of food would be fantastic and everything tasted delicious once we originally tried it at our wedding tasters. On the day itself, the food certainly didn’t disappoint and everyone commented on how scrumptious the food was from the canapes to wedding breakfast and evening buffet. The bar staff and the night team were great and ensured everyone was having a good time. We certainly kept them busy but the team were all smiling and they ensured everyone was served instantly. After the evening, when we went to the honeymoon suite, the room was stunning and spotless. You can really tell that the housekeeping team put a lot of time and energy into the cleanliness of the rooms. Even the following morning the breakfast/ front of house team were so friendly and helpful. They ensured everyone was service instantly to cure the hangovers in the morning. Each and every one of them went above and beyond for us both and we are so grateful they did this. Our wedding day at Stirk House was by far one of the best days of our lives and we wouldn’t have changed anything. We will cherish the memories forever and we wish we could just do it all over again. We highly recommend getting married at Stirk House, you definitely won’t regret it!
