Browsholme Hall in Lancashire is a Tudor Hall and has more choice than any other venue for wedding couples to create their perfect day, be it a ceremony in our stunning Barn or an outdoor ceremony by the Lily Pond, Italian Steps or Lonesome Pine.
We take pride in meeting our couples' aspirations, whether for a large party, or a micro-wedding. Each wedding is tailor-made, caring for you and your guests to deliver our award winning hospitality and customer service.
The Tithe Barn and Courtyard is the focus for most ceremonies, reception and evening parties. Restored in 2010, this historic barn has been transformed into a unique venue for weddings for up to 120 day guests and 180 for the evening do.
The barn has beautiful authentic features, such as exposed stone, oak beams and flagstone floors which creates a unique atmosphere and a canvas for couples own creativity.
We have the latest design innovations in lighting, video, sound systems and catering facilities which have been seamlessly integrated to provide a truly unique experience.
Outside the Courtyard provides a fantastic space to use during reception drinks and in the evening is a great area for a party, especially when coupled with our wood fired pizza oven.

From our first visit when we met Eleanor, we loved the venue and knew it was the one. Throughout the planning process Rebecca, Gina, Freyja and Nicola were so friendly and helped with all of our questions. On the day of the wedding we both felt so calm and confident knowing that everything was being looked after from the morning to the evening. The staff on the day all had smiles and couldn't of been nicer to us both and our guests which made a massive difference. They are a real credit to Browsholme and made us feel so special throughout the day. We would highly recommend Browsholme for anyone looking to get married!!!! The food was absolutely amazing and everything was so well organised. They had thought of all the small things, like keeping canapés to the side for us and making sure we got a welcome drink ASAP/toasting 'fresheners' before the final toast etc. Really amazing/beautiful venue and couldn't recommend enough.Amazing venue and the staff were 10/10 all day. They really couldn't do enough for us and the grounds were beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing and everything was so well organised. From our first visit, this family run venue really just had something special. The vibe fit everything we were looking for, with the grandness of the hall and the laidback rustic feel of the barn. We had our ceremony outside at the Italian steps which were stunning, and our dog Poppy was able to be our ring bearer too. The most exciting part of the day was our boat ride on the lake in the grounds, a completely unique experience that gave us some time just for us on the day. Our day was seamless and the staff were unbelievable. They made us, our suppliers and our guests feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding at Browsholme Hall. The getting ready room was spacious enough for 2 brides getting ready together. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us, even ferrying us about on a golf buggy to keep the dresses off the floor. The grounds around Browsholme are gorgeous and well maintained, perfect for photos and for the guests to have a wander around. It's in a beautiful bit of countryside, a few of our guests stayed in nearby hotels and made a mini holiday of it. We booked all the on site accommodation for guests, we all wish we'd had more time to spend in the lodges as they were really lovely and comfortable. Even breakfast the next day was spot on - wouldn't have changed a thing. We got married in the Tithe Barn in October, the team at Browsholme made everything really easy and had every detail covered. Everyone we dealt with from the first visit through booking the venue, organising the accommodation and the wedding day plans were all so helpful. The venue is a beautiful barn surrounded by countryside and we manged to get to enjoy the full venue for our autumnal wedding as the we managed to get a beautiful sunny day. We stayed the day before the wedding as well as the wedding day so met Freyja the afternoon before the wedding and she was amazing. She helped us sneak wedding thank you gifts away the day before the wedding to be given out during the meal and helped us with the last bits of prep such as putting the seat chart out and table numbers into the frames we brought. They'd taken care of every detail and as soon as I arrived at the venue on the wedding day Freyja ensured I was aware of where I was needed when. All I can say is thank you to all the Browsholme staff. We knew we'd found the right venue when we came but you made the whole process easy and ensured our day was a day we'll never forget.What can I say except beautiful venue with amazing staff. The lead up to the wedding we knew we was in the perfect hands of Rebecca and her team, everyone was so accommodating and truly helped us plan and run the perfect day, we will be forever grateful for the hard work and effort that they all put in to ensure we had a wedding of a lifetime!! We had an amazing ceremony by the Lily pond which was truly magical, the grounds are absolutely breathtaking, perfect for a summers day wedding! We then had our wedding breakfast and party in Tithe Barn, which was perfect from start to finish. The food catered by Twelve was some of the best food we have ever eaten!! Followed by an evening of dancing under the twinkling fairy lights, while eating pizza that was homemade from the outdoor pizza oven ( we still have people to this day say how amazing the pizza was) All our guests have said it was the most stunning wedding venue they have been too and had the most amazing day!
