The Compasses at Pattiswick

We had the most wonderful day for our wedding at the Compasses! The venue was perfect for our intimate wedding and we loved every minute! The team were so friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is beautiful too and we got some lovely sunset photos in a nearby field. Would highly recommend!

We knew we wanted a venue that would support us with an informal, chilled out vibe for our wedding and The Compasses was perfect for us but will support any kind of wedding you want. From the first chat with Jono, all the way through planning with Charlaine, to the day with Della and Jordane, nothing was too much trouble and no question too daft. I felt like we were all one giant team and our wedding day was everything we wanted. We used suppliers recommended by the venue and cannot fault them. I was genuinely sad that we wouldn't get to hang out there any more once our wedding was done. We had so many compliments on the venue from our guests and we are so glad that we picked The Compasses for our special day.

We got married at The Compasses at Pattiswick in June 2024 and it was the perfect wedding venue. From the first viewing with Jono we were immediately in love with the relaxed and friendly atmosphere the venue created, to the countless emails we bombarded Charlaine with during the planning process, to the smooth running of the day by Jordaine and Della, everything was perfect. The team gave us so much flexibility and creative control in our decor and were supportive and on hand as we set up everything the day before. On the day itself, the team were always one step ahead of us and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. We can't rate The Compasses at Pattiswick highly enough and would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone.

We got married at The Compasses in March 2024. The venue is cosy and perfect for intimate weddings. As soon as we visited the venue, we knew this was the place where we wanted to get married. Charlaine made the planning of our day as simple as possible and was always just an email or phone call away. No request was too big, from dietary requirements to personalised drinks packages and accommodating our guests observing Ramadan. On the day, they were extremely helpful with setting up the wedding and ensuring the whole day ran smoothly. The food was incredible and the guests were equally pleased. Overall, we couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect and we are extremely grateful to all the staff for making our wedding so special.

We got married at the compasses on 2nd March 2024 and could not recommend this incredible venue enough!!! From start to finish we were blown away by their kindness, attention to detail and thoughtfulness to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. We fell in love with the compasses as soon as we arrived and so did all our guests. There is so much we could say about how incredible this venue is but our top 3 stand out points are: - the ceremony room!! We were able to create a true fairytale and our guests felt close to us during the ceremony. This was so important to us. - the bridal room! Truly spectacular use of space and to have it all day to pop in and out of was fantastic. - the people! Nothing is too big or too small, and the team ensured everything ran smoothly. This really is the perfect countryside wedding. All our guests felt super comfortable and made use of the entire venue. Thank you to all the team. You made our dream a perfect reality.

This venue is simply beautiful. We enjoyed every part of the process when planning our wedding with the compasses. The staff really put you at easy and are just so friendly. This venue doesn’t offer set packages which is a brilliant touch as there’s always restrictions that may affect how you want your day when certain venue have these in place. Our day ran seamlessly and that’s all thanks to the staff. All our family and friends said how lovely our choice in venue was, as it was intimate but still spacious. The sounding areas are beautiful for photo opportunities, but sadly it rained on our day so we didn’t get to venture outside much. But that didn’t dampen our day what so ever. I’m just so sad that it’s all over! I would happily do it all again and I wouldn’t have changed a thing✨
