Belonging to the University of Birmingham and dating back to the early 20th century, Edgbaston Park Hotel brings together contemporary elegance with period charm. You’ll find two of the most beautiful wedding venues in Birmingham: a charming historic house and a bright, contemporary suite. Hornton Grange is an exclusive use building nestled in leafy Edgbaston. Originally built as a family home in 1928, it’s now transformed into a beautiful boutique wedding venue. It’s fully licensed to host indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and is the perfect backdrop to create a bespoke wedding for up to 100 guests. The Fry Suite is a stunning contemporary room situated in the main building at Edgbaston Park Hotel. This space is ideal for larger weddings for up to 250 guests and with a subtle palette you can truly make it your own. With its own private bar and the option of internal or external catering, you’re spoilt for choice. Simply choose from one of our luxury wedding packages and menus – or make your day extra special with a tailor-made experience – and we’ll take care of the rest. Boasting 185 bedrooms and three serviced apartments, Edgbaston Park Hotel offers guests the opportunity to relax into the evening, sleep soundly and enjoy breakfast the next morning. A private dinner or buffet the night before means couples can relax before the big day feeling refreshed and ready to celebrate. With ample space for up to 240* evening guests and 180 guests for ceremonies and wedding meals, it’s made for celebrating with all your family and friends. If you’re looking for a more intimate day, you’ll fall in love with Hornton Grange. This gorgeous redbrick house oozes historical charm and elegance – complete with a dreamy sky-lit extension and landscaped gardens. Toast to your life together with up to 100 day guests and dance beneath the stars with up to 150* evening guests. You’ll also have six luxury bedrooms to use on your special day, ensuring your entourage are never far away.

She was incredibly patient, gave us plenty of time to consider our options, and talked everything through with us in detail. Once we confirmed the venue, Tori supported us every step of the way – no question was ever too big or too small. We had several planning meetings throughout the year to keep everything on track, and her guidance was invaluable, often helping us think about details we hadn’t even considered. In the week leading up to the wedding, the venue and staff were brilliant, accommodating last-minute changes with ease. On the day itself, everything was exceptional. The level of care and attention to detail was outstanding, and the food and drink were superb. We were given a main point of contact on the day, but it was lovely to see Tori also overseeing the meal service and ensuring everything ran perfectly. Our guests repeatedly commented on the generous portion sizes, the quality of the food, and how well different dietary requirements were catered for. We really appreciated the flexibility in choosing a wide range of options for both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. The venue’s recommended suppliers were also excellent – we met both our pianist and DJ at one of the hotel’s wedding showcases, and they were fantastic on the day. I would really recommend going to one of these (and there are a few throughout the year). We can’t thank the team at Edgbaston Park Hotel enough for their support. The entire experience was seamless, and the day itself was truly flawless and unforgettable. The day ran so smoothly and we couldn’t fault anything, even with some very last minute changes to seating plans (on the day). A massive thank you to Tasmin for her guidance and knowledge along the way and also to Shane for looking after 2 very nervous brides on the day!
