The Location House is a newly restored private family home, opening its doors only a handful of times each year for exclusive hire weddings. With ornate plasterwork ceilings, grand marble fireplaces and 17 acres of secluded gardens, it offers a refined yet relaxed setting for couples seeking privacy, flexibility and the time to truly enjoy their celebration. Peacefully set near Knowle, Solihull - and just five minutes from the M42, the house feels wonderfully secluded while remaining easy for guests to reach.

The Location House is not a traditional, all-inclusive wedding venue. It is best suited to couples who value exclusive use over scale and the freedom of dry hire to create something deeply personal. It will appeal to those drawn to understated luxury, thoughtful details and a relaxed country house wedding

Ceremonies
From 2027, The Location House will be licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to marry on site. Choose from the romantic pastel Drawing Room, the garden chapel or the main lawn - each offering a distinctly beautiful backdrop for your vows.

Every corner feels romantic and refined, which makes it perfect for couple shoots, bridal portraits, pre-wedding shoots, and intimate celebrations. The gardens are just as special and a gorgeous backdrop that feel both private and effortless, not to mention the horses which are a beautiful touch! If you’re a couple looking for a venue that feels unique and personal this is truly something special and that’s why I’ll continue to recommend it. It doesn’t have the “cookie-cutter” feel of larger venues and it feels more intimate and meaningful. What makes it even more wonderful is the host. Are you a dry-hire venue?
Yes, we are a fully dry hire venue which gives our wedding couples the flexibility to make their day truly unique
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our capacities are:
Indoor seating dining - 80 guests
Outdoor seated dining - 100 guests
Evening reception - up to 120 guests
What are the ceremony options
From 2027 onwards we are pleased to add civil ceremonies to our offering - from the romantic pastel drawing room, to the garden chapel or the main lawn, take your pick from our locations to say 'I-do'
Do you have any late availability?
Yes, as a new venue we have plenty of late availability for 2027 - please get in touch if you would like to check a date
Do you allow dogs at the wedding?
Yes we do. As we have farm animals nearby we ask that furry friends attend on lead
Is there accommodation available?
We offer 1 nights accommodation for the couple
Do you allow external caterers?
Yes, external caterers are allowed. We are a fully dry hire venue and as such we work alongside external caterers and suppliers to deliver your perfect day
