Where do I start; the staff were excellent nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. I've been to loads of weddings and the catering hasn't been very good especially when serving 60 plus people. All my guests were amazed at the good quality food served to a high standard and still hot. The venue is a beautiful country hotel with lovely grounds. We knew straight away that this hotelwould make our winter wedding superb. I did initially try the towns most popular wedding venues but after having my appointment cancelled 3 times I knew I needed to chose somewhere else. We came to the lodge for a drink one day and immediately fell in love with the place. The staff were so attentive and showed us around that we knew from then it was the place we wanted.
