Description
Duddon Mill Farm offers exclusive use of our lakeside wedding field for a full weekend stretching from the Friday to the Sunday with a choice of locations for the tents or marquees.
The farm is set in the middle of 70 acres of our own land, surrounded by orchards, streams, woodland and lakes with some manicured lawns too!
There are no noisy railways, roads or airports nearby although we are only 15 minutes away from Chester City centre.
We are an intimate and exclusive family run venue
Our wedding field has an electricity supply (which saves any generator hire) and drinking water supply for the catering tents included in the price.
Couples are free to use any suppliers they wish, we do not charge corkage on any alcohol for the wedding.
We only host a very limited number of weddings per year so we can guarantee a personal experience, with only one event happening at a time.
We also include in the wedding package use of our three beautiful onsite cottages for the bride and groom and wedding guests, sleeping up to 12 people in luxury over the Friday and Saturday nights.
There is a one bedroom cottage, ideal as the bridal suite, a two bedroom cottage and a three bedroom cottage.
We have a large timber clad dutch barn, over looking two of our lakes, which is a dedicated ceremony space available for ceremonies or drinks receptions should you wish to use it at no extra cost.
It will comfortably seat 120 people in a variety of configurations. It is not currently registered for civil ceremonies.
We have our own toilet facilities onsite, catering for up to 120 guests which avoids
the cost of trailer loos.
There are wonderful views and backdrops for photos, including our medieval stone bridge, ancient orchards and lakeside folley to name a few!
We are a very flexible and accommodating venue. You are free to make your wedding your own, in any style you like. You can be truly yourselves at Duddon Mill Farm.

The venue team are helpful, well organised and totally committed to the smooth running of their weddings and they've definitely nailed the market for beautifully wild, outdoor weddings - with just a touch of luxury and civilisation when you need it!I had the pleasure of officiating at an outdoor wedding at Duddon this summer - it was a wonderfully well organised event at a truly stunning location. The venue team are helpful, well organised and totally committed to the smooth running of their weddings and they've definitely nailed the market for beautifully wild, outdoor weddings - with just a touch of luxury and civilisation when you need it!
