Overlooking the beautiful spa town of Harrogate, the impressive Victorian property provides a picturesque setting inside and out for photographs and memories that will last you a lifetime.
Each of our fourteen event suites boast their own history and unique character, with period features from ornate Venetian chandeliers to striking antique fireplaces set amidst contemporary, neutral décor which can be customised to make your Wedding dreams come to life.
Whether you’re looking for an intimate venue or an extravagant celebration, we have the perfect backdrop for hosting a Civil Ceremony, Wedding Breakfast or Evening Reception, with the option to use multiple rooms to suit your numbers accordingly.
From booking the date your Wedding Coordinator will work closely with you throughout the process to create floor plans, design the set up, choose your menus and bring your dream Wedding to life.
The hotel is also home to 184 unique guest rooms, the gorgeous Carters Champagne Bar & Grill, Frederick's Lounge & Terrace and The Harrogate Spa & Gym making it a Wedding venue that is sure to impress.

Our wedding was cancelled due to our venue going into administration due to covid and we lost everything we had paid as we were weeks away from getting married. As Ben and I worked through the pandemic as a nurse and paramedic it just seemed there was no let up and the stress and strain of re arranging a wedding on top of working was relentless. The Majestic had really thought about every detail and it made us feel that they really understood us and our needs. The spaces were absolutely beautiful, and perfectly apt for the theme we wanted for our wedding. What really stood out to us about booking the Majestic Hotel was that on our first viewing, we were guided through the venue step by step in the order that all the events of our wedding day would take place, from getting ready, to ceremony, to reception, to the dinner dance. The Majestic had really thought about every detail and it made us feel that they really understood us and our needs. When planning our day the Majestic Hotel was very accommodating to our requests, particularly in designing a traditional afternoon tea wedding breakfast and the fact we had to postpone our wedding twice.We were initially drawn by the grandeur of the Majestic Hotel when looking for venues in Harrogate. My bridesmaids and I were greeted with bubbly and flowers in the stunning room when we arrived and our every need was met, including 2 fans and extra ice buckets to combat the warm weather!! The staff were all helpful, friendly, lovely and couldn't do enough for my husband and me. Hendrik Le Roux was phenomenal in his organisation of the wedding and we couldn't have wished for a better day. A guest commented that it was the best wedding with the best food, including his own!!
