The Majestic is a stunning venue and we had a wonderful wedding day! The building’s original features created a beautiful backdrop to our day and the photographs. This coupled with great food and service meant that we enjoyed a relaxed and thoroughly memorable time.

The staff was incredibly professional and attentive, making the planning process a breeze. What really stood out to us about booking the Majestic Hotel was that on our first viewing, we were guided through the venue step by step in the order that all the events of our wedding day would take place, from getting ready, to ceremony, to reception, to the dinner dance. The Majestic had really thought about every detail and it made us feel that they really understood us and our needs. The spaces were absolutely beautiful, and perfectly apt for the theme we wanted for our wedding.

From the moment we sat down with the wedding co-ordinator on our first look around the majestic before booking our wedding- we knew this was the venue for us. Nothing was too much hassle and everyone was so helpful. We had a fabulous wedding day, the co-ordinator ensured it all ran smoothly. After our dream wedding was ruined we couldn’t imagine that anyone would be able to help us… but The Majestic did! Our wedding was cancelled due to our venue going into administration due to covid and we lost everything we had paid as we were weeks away from getting married. We were initially drawn by the grandeur of the Majestic Hotel when looking for venues in Harrogate. We were looking for a venue that was simplistic and sophisticated, so the elegance of the reading room with its chandeliers and ornate mirrors made it a perfect choice for our wedding. When planning our day the Majestic Hotel was very accommodating to our requests, particularly in designing a traditional afternoon tea wedding breakfast and the fact we had to postpone our wedding twice.

We had a beautiful day and you did an amazing job accommodating us all and ensuring we had the best service on the day. The room looked stunning also we were very impressed. You’ve been superb adapting to our date and last minute asks so thank you to you and the team for making our day very special.
