You’ve been an absolute star from beginning to end and we were very appreciative that you stayed so late to keep everything running smoothly. Everyone has said what an excellent time they had. Please pass on our thanks to everyone else involved, too - chef, all the kitchen & waiting staff and Emma, who was so accommodating with our drink requests. Each and every member of staff was warm, friendly and professional. The bar staff and servers (sometimes being the same people) really helped to make this experience a thoroughly enjoyable one for us. You have a pretty special property and a team who make it all the more so.From the moment of check in, which in itself was incredible - welcoming, efficient, informative, friendly and fun all rolled into one, we all had an amazing few days! Each and every member of staff was warm, friendly and professional. The bar staff and servers (sometimes being the same people) really helped to make this experience a thoroughly enjoyable one for us. You have a pretty special property and a team who make it all the more so.
- BBride & Groom18/05/2022Cancelled ours & Lied, Avoid Cancelled ours & Lied, AvoidDiglis House Hotel told me they cancelled all upcoming weddings over email on Friday (including mine). I found out later that they’d only in fact cancelled 4, giving us all different reasons it seems over email, and just decided to email rather than call despite saying they had “so many couples” to contact that day, I actually felt bad for them but now know they were lying. A full refund was given but they happily accepted our booking and money a month ago, my family booked flights, booked rooms at their hotel, and they continued as if nothing was wrong until Friday. Not sure what’s going on and wouldn’t blame the reception staff but would avoid booking here in case of issues like this coming up. Nothing was too much trouble for Cara and she was always at the other end of the telephone/email and was very patient when I had to make any changes/special requests, thank you also for all the running around you did for us on the wedding day itself and your patience when we suddenly started to run late!! To EVERYBODY that was involved in the planning and involvement of our wedding day on 10th September 2021, thank you! You all played a huge part in making our day absolutely perfect and we can't thank you ALL enough. We had THE best day. The staff were excellent & catered for our guests with particular dietary needs. After being proposed on a boat in front of the hotel, we decided to choose it as our venue and we were positively surprised when the venue surpassed all of our expectations. The staff were incredibly helpful and tried to do everything with and without their reach to make the whole experience as smooth and stress free as possible; the venue is absolutely beautiful and the food was just delightful. All our guests kept talking how pretty everything looked and how helpful everyone was. Thank you Diglis Hotel crew for making it such an incredible day for us and our friends and family!
