Nestled within 10,000 acres of ancient woodland in the West Midlands, Forest of Arden Hotel & Country Club provides a picturesque setting for your wedding day. With stunning grounds and forested surroundings, it is the ideal backdrop for your ceremony, reception drinks, and timeless photographs throughout the year.
Our marquee is the largest and most versatile space, complete with self-contained bars and outdoor areas and can host 300 – 350 guests depending on your décor and layout. For mid-size weddings, the Arden Suite provides an elegant setting for 100 – 180 guests, featuring a private entrance, in-room bar, reception area, and terrace with sweeping views of our grounds. For smaller, more intimate celebrations, the Aylesford Room on the second floor offers a charming and private space.
Couples can choose from a variety of catering options, including bespoke self-catering packages, giving you the freedom to create a wedding that truly reflects your style and tastes. Our talented chefs use the finest ingredients to craft memorable menus, while our dedicated Wedding Coordinators are on hand to guide you every step of the way, offering inspiration and support to bring your vision to life.
After your celebration, you and your guests can retire to one of our 214 exceptional ensuite bedrooms, including premium and family rooms. The next morning, unwind and recharge in our pool, sauna, or jacuzzi, or enjoy a pre-booked spa treatment before setting off on your honeymoon.

The little touches left in our rooms were lovely too! The meal in the private dining the night before was delicious and we were very well looked after. Marcus, was absolutely amazing. I could not thank him enough for everything he did for us over the weekend. Everything was spot on, in fact the whole day was perfect and we couldn’t have done it without him! You have been so amazing since taking over coordination of our day and it honestly was the best day of our lives. Thank you for being so patient with me and for always being so kind and welcoming during the meetings we had. You honestly made me feel nothing was too much trouble. Stefan and all the staff on the day were amazing and made sure our day went without a hitch. The crisp wall was a massive hit and the sparkler arch was pretty cool too. You took us both under your wings after we were initially let down. You went very often above and beyond when dealing with the endless communication coming your way from myself. I think we may have a new word in 'Groomzilla'. I know I probably was asking a lot sometimes (most times) but I wanted to make sure I had the perfect day for Hayley lined up and my god didn't the hotel deliver along with the other services we had. I would also like to personally thank yourself for help calming Hayley's nerves ahead of the ceremony. She mentioned you had gone to visit her and it helped settle her down slightly. The role you played in setting up the best day of our lives really shouldn't be under-estimated. Your experience and expertise certainly helped us both and we really thank you for that. The hotel's recommended photographer was fantastic along with the DJ via sound kicks. You should be really proud to have such great services available and linked to the hotel. I highly recommend them both. As mentioned above myself and Hayley had the best day of our lives so far. Everything yourself and the hotel promised was delivered. The food was excellent (all the meals we had), the evening buffet was superb and the presentation of it was unbelievable. Every member of staff we encountered were excellent. We both know from experience how hard the hospitality role is and it was great to see all the staff continuously serve us with a smile and a genuine interest too. I have spoken to the majority of our guests and they all commented on how wonderful the food was and the atmosphere of the wedding which yourself and Stacey contributed towards. Please also thank all the Chefs who contributed as well. I will be sending Stacey a direct email tomorrow but again Stacey was excellent. Stacey took the baton from yourself and continued to run with it. Describe the best wedding that happened at your venue?
Every wedding is special to me, as each one is unique and full of personal touches that make it truly memorable. One of my most memorable weddings at Forest of Arden was an Irish-American celebration. The day was vibrant, filled with meaningful details that reflected both the couple and their families and beautifully represented the commitment they were making to each other. Our marquee was set up perfectly and the celebrations didn’t stop all day. Moments like these, where every detail comes together to create joy and connection are what make my role so rewarding.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding planning tip is to focus on what truly matters to you as a couple. It’s easy to get caught up in trends or what others expect, but your day should reflect your personalities and the moments that mean the most to you. Prioritise those special touches and experiences that will make your wedding uniquely yours, everything else will naturally fall into place.
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
Some of my favourite personal touches are signature “his and hers” cocktails, custom wedding favours, incorporating family traditions, a bespoke couple logo or a memory table. These little details make each wedding feel unique and personal.

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
Our famous Flower Hill and the lake are always popular, along with the front of the venue adorned with Boston Ivy. With 10,000 acres of landscaped grounds, including woodlands and rolling hills, there are endless spots for stunning wedding photos.
Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?
While we’ve hosted a few well-known faces over the years, we always respect the privacy of our couples and their guests. Every wedding at Forest of Arden is treated with the same care and attention, making each celebration feel just as special and memorable.
What’s your favourite canapé?
My favourite canapés have to be our Mini Cod & Chips and Rare Roast Beef with horseradish, they are always a hit in the late evening. But I think our Smoked Salmon on rye toast is a classic that never fails to impress guests and looks beautiful plated too.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
My favourite midnight treats are the comforting, savoury bites that keep the party going. Mini baps or cobs filled with tasty fillings are always a hit.

I’m most proud of the personal, tailored service we offer every couple. Our team is there to guide, inspire and support, helping each couple create a wedding that truly reflects their personalities and story.
