The venue itself is absolutely stunning and provided the perfect setting for our special day. A huge thank you to our wedding planner, Amy Burridge, who was exceptional from start to finish. She always went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of and made the whole planning process so much easier and stress-free. We’d also like to give special recognition to Alex, the Events Manager, and Lucy, the supervisor on the day, who were both fantastic. The bar staff and waiting staff were equally impressive—nothing was ever too much trouble, and they looked after us and our guests so well. A very special mention must go to Daniel, who consistently went above and beyond every time we visited the venue. He was incredibly helpful, particularly when assisting us with setting up the day before the wedding, and his kindness and dedication did not go unnoticed. So many of our guests commented on how wonderful, friendly, and attentive all the staff were, which really helped make our day so memorable. Thank you to everyone involved for making our wedding day so special. We had the best day celebrating with our family and friends, helped by amazing weather! The wedding event team at the venue are great. From booking the date to the big day, all our plans came together. The service and food was great, catering for the bride who's coeliac and for other allergies. The rooms are excellent. We loved that the ceremony, reception, meal and party could all be held in one place. Plenty of accommodation for your guests to stay. Lots of onsite parking. She was always super helpful and quick at being able to help us. We had so many questions along the way, and we were never made to feel like they were stupid. Amy was also very flexible, with our timings, things we wanted to use in the venue, etc. Nothing ever felt like too much. The accommodation and grounds are stunning, our guests are still talking about, and many even made sure they used the hotel facilities and walked around the grounds whilst staying. We did the dry hire package due to having a Hindu ceremony and Civil ceremony, and the value for money in terms of space we were able to use was really good. Beautiful indoors and outdoors, accessible and laid out close together, accommodation on site, confident and friendly staff, and an absolutely awesome staircase. Jess made us feel so relaxed from day one (which is quite impressive as we're both quite highly strung) and walked us through everything we needed to know at every point of the process. We were so pleased with how the venue catered to all of our requests including many complicated dietary restrictions, a coeliac bride, a first look on the iconic staircase, incorporating traditional liquor from my family, an L shaped aisle, and organising a pre-wedding day meal for our guests. When the day before the wedding arrived, we felt so at ease from the second we arrived and knew exactly how to contact our on-the-day coordinator (Bea) for anything we needed. We both had gorgeous rooms to get ready in and everything on the wedding day ran with complete professional precision. We were so happy with how the day went at the time, and looking back we can't find a single thing we could fault. Latimer made our day literally and completely perfect! We will cherish the beautiful memories we made there forever and can't recommend them enough - we know we made the 100% right choice to host our special day here. A real hidden gem of a venue as I hadn’t come across this venue in my initial search. Venue capacitates for up to 200 (less if you include stage) and holds an extensive lawn area which can be used for event. This was ideal for guests to go out onto, especially if weather conditions are good. The best backdrop for photos, and to be honest the whole venue has different areas which are great photo shots. Staff were very efficient on the day and wedding team at Latimer were helpful throughout the planning process till the wedding day. Suites available for guests and couples are of very good standard. Jess is the most wonderful wedding coordinator.she will prompt you for information but not hassle you. I enjoyed planning the reception with her. Jess and Karina together ensured that our wedding day was perfect and exactly as we wanted it. All our guests had a spectacular time and raved about the venue! With lots of details to think about it’s easy to worry, but try to remember why you are having your wedding, you are marrying your best friend!

What is your venue's most unique feature?
It's intriguing history, with the first mention of the manor house at Latimer recorded as early as 1194 AD. The estate was then passed down through families of English nobility, before becoming a top secret centre for military intelligence during World War II, where it gained its name as one of Britain’s most secret homes.
