We are still on such a natural high from the perfect day!    Thanks must go to both Jessica (our wedding manager) and Bea (our wedding coordinator on the day) for being so helpful and kind, Bea deserves a promotion.   We had the most wonderful perfect day it couldn’t have gone any better! We can’t stop smiling!    The venue is truly amazing! We had a small intimate wedding with just 32 including ourselves and the room worked perfectly creating a relaxed day which everyone loved and commented as much. Our photographer Karolina was inspired by the most beautiful setting she even stayed longer to capture the essence of the surroundings.   We have the most wonderful memories, thank you for helping make those happen!  Pippa & Guy

Latimer House provided the perfect location for our civil ceremony - the Cheyne room was a gorgeous setting for both the ceremony and the dinner with a beautiful backdrop over the Chess Valley, and the library provided a cosy yet classy space to drink champagne and enjoy the moment with family. The backdrop of the impressive manor house, carriage driveway and valley have made for fantastic photos. Our overnight stay in the Junior Suite was included; the room was spacious, clean and incredibly comfortable with a nice view. All the staff were very attentive throughout our time there and we felt well-looked after. Everything went smoothly with not a thing out of place. Thank you also to the wedding team in the months leading up to the day, they made it easy and stress-free to plan the details. Thank you for making our day special, we have enjoyed the many compliments from our families who joined us - we will be back!

We had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at De Vere Latimer estate in June 2024. We had Jess as our events manager and she made all the planning so simple and easy. We got to catch up with her before the wedding at different points to make sure we were all on schedule and to answer all our questions. On the day before the wedding and on the day itself it was wonderful to have Jess around as she offered all the last min support we needed and put us at ease. We had the wonderful Karina running the day, keeping across the set up, suppliers and guests’ needs. She made sure everything flowed smoothly and she would handle any requests we had straight away. She is a massive asset to the venue and anybody getting married will be lucky to have her run the day! The food was delicious and even ticked all the boxes for our most picky eaters. Lots of the guests commented that this was the best wedding food they have ever had! The venue both inside and outside created amazing opportunities for our photographer to take beautiful shots. I cannot thank the whole team enough for making it the most memorable day of our lives.

Our whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The support and guidance we received from Jessica, from the first visit to after the wedding, was amazing. She was extremely helpful and informative. She made the experience super easy and it took all the stress away from us! On the wedding day, Karina was superb. She helped make the day go smoothly without any hiccups. The whole team and all the staff we encountered were fantastic and super professional. Our vision was created perfectly and nothing was too much or an issue. The food was great and the stay was an excellent way to end our wedding. Couldn't recommend enough.

We celebrated our wedding reception at Latimer house and it was the most amazing day ever. Jess is the most wonderful wedding coordinator.she will prompt you for information but not hassle you. I enjoyed planning the reception with her. Jess and Karina together ensured that our wedding day was perfect and exactly as we wanted it. All our guests had a spectacular time and raved about the venue! Cannot highly recommend enough!

DeVere Latimer Estate was the perfect venue to host our Christmas themed wedding. We had actually chosen another venue but went to see DeVere Latimer out of curiosity and instantly knew it would be perfect and booked it the next day. We viewed the venue on a hot day which looked stunning, although it was actually snowing on our wedding day and it could not have looked more picture perfect. Firstly the wedding venue... jaw dropping stunning! The drive up to the venue is so picturesque, through some country and forest lanes, arriving at the hotels long grand drive entrance, leading to the most beautiful mansion, flanked by picture perfect views of the countryside. No picture can do it justice, you have to see it in person. Our wedding was held in the mansion house which is gorgeous, from the opulent entrance, grand staircase and stunning decor that leads to the canopy, bar and reception rooms. From there you also have private views and access to the stunning garden and countryside hills. Both bar area and reception room were perfect where you can customise is down to every detail per your taste and budget. We had very specific request due to it being a Christmas themed wedding and the Wedding Team surpassed our expectations in every way. Secondly the wedding planning team, as perfect at the venue itself. Due to a change in venue we had to plan our wedding in 2.5 months. The team could not have made this easier and less stressful for us. They recommended suppliers were brilliant, where you can pick and choose what you want or, what we did, do a mix and match of their and your won suppliers. They were so accommodating at every step of the journey, really listening to what we wanted and bending over backwards to make it happen. Not one member was pushy and we felt really valued. Where other venues had a red line of what they were willing to do, no request at Latimer was too big or too small - they genuinely cared about making our day perfect and not about what cost or commission they were receiving. This carried onto the wedding day where the whole team (led by Lloyd) were so calm, respectful and helpful, going above and beyond to make us and all our guests happy. Finally the food. I must admit when we saw the menu options on paper we were a little underwhelmed being of Indian background. We needed have worried as when we went for the taste tasting, the food blew us away. We then met the Chef (Partha) and he even did some tweaks to the menu to give it our own flare. Our guests raved about it all, including some food bloggers and foodies who came. They were such talented chefs! The above barely scratches the surface why Latimer and the Wedding team made our wedding journey perfect, so we have nothing but wonderful things to say with absolutely no negatives. All our guests still talk about our wedding weekend and how stunning it all looked, how much fun they had and how all the touches, big and small, made it equally grand but personal. We are eternally grateful to the whole team at DeVere Latimer Estate.

A huge huge huge thank you to Jess and Lloyd. Where do we start?! Jess was phenomenal in her knowledge and expertise of wedding coordinating. We asked a lot of questions but nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We built a fantastic rapport with her and just wanted to take time to say thank you. Lloyd was the main man leading our big day and he ensured the day ran so smoothly. He even came up to us after our church ceremony with a glass of champagne.. it’s all the little touches that just made our day. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and the food was incredible (and we love our food)! Anyone thinking of having your big day here, do not hesitate! We look back and the only sad thing is that we can’t just relive it all over again!!! Thanks so much guys, it’s a day we will cherish forever and will never forget.

My (now) wife and I got married here in August 2023. The staff were nothing short of superb — Jess was phenomenal during the planning and was always on hand to answer any queries we had. Petkov was incredible during the day, helping things run as smoothly as possible, and the chef... just wow. When people come up to you days after and talk about how unexpectedly good the food was, when they were already expecting quality from foodies like us, it is testament to the chef’s abilities. He was also incredibly accommodating when a guest was waylaid, changing plans last-minute to ensure everyone was happy and fed. The grounds were utterly spectacular — not even the rain could put a dampener on the day, and there is plenty to see indoors too, from placards on the local history (very interesting for history buffs) to a mini library with a bar (great for fellow bibliophiles). As for the rooms themselves? Absolutely top-tier — especially in the mansion house. The beds were fantastic, the amenities were on point and we simply cannot recommend De Vere Latimer estate enough. 10/10, would strongly recommend.

The biggest thank you to the whole Latimer team for ensuring we had the best day of our lives. Special thanks to Jess and Abby who are an absolute dream team! We spent 16 months planning our wedding with Jess - she was easy to contact, kind, professional and no request was too much! On the day Abby was a superstar working endlessly to coordinate the most perfect day for us. Between Jess and Abby every detail, no matter how small, was planned, executed and checked meticulously. Since the wedding our guests have continuously sent compliments on the food, the service and the beautiful venue itself. We are so grateful we found Latimer Estate, it was always have a special place in our hearts. Thank you all very much for giving us the wedding of our dreams!

We had our wedding here at the De Vere and just one word can be used to describe the whole thing from start to finish. That word is AMAZING! The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the grounds, décor and rooms are beautiful. All the staff at the De Vere are just fabulous, they couldn't do enough for us, our family and friends. The food is delicious and award worthy and that was one of the things all our guests commented on the most was the food! The events team, Jess, Lloyd and everyone else were just a dream. From day one where we pulled up to this beautiful manor house and met Jess for the first time to checkout the day after the wedding, they were just amazing. Any question we had was answered, they went over and above to give us the fairy-tale wedding we envisioned and it really was like something out of a dream. Thank you all so much for the most wonderful weekend that we will cherish forever. We will be back to stay so we can relive just a little bit of our day by being there.
