Hi! I'm Kristina, owner of Countryside Events and family member of Rood Ashton Park where my families farm is located. We have a stunning 8 acre lake which we opened up to couples to enjoy from 2018. I am personally the one you speak to throughout the whole booking of the venue, having had my own marquee wedding in 2017 I know first hand what its like organising a wedding as the bride! Nothing is too much and I'm always happy to help wherever I can to help showcase the venue for your day.

4 day lakeside venue hire with exclusive use on your wedding day 2 days set up, 1 day wedding hire & 1 day set down. Ample hard standing parking in lake car park with overflow grass parking area and ability to drive right up to the marquee for disabled users. 36Kva Super Silent Generator with distribution board and main cabling to the marquee. 3+1 Luxury Toilet Trailer for up to 250 guests with fully flushing loos. Fully licensed pay bar service including the bar unit & staff (see terms and conditions). Blessing ceremony area if required Ability to use any space along any of the lakeside for a blessing ceremony area. Camping/glamping area if required Separate grass camping area for up to 70 guests for caravans, tents & bell tents. On site co-ordination meeting 4 weeks before your wedding To go through the order of the day and answer any questions. Individual Events license to allow live/amplified music until 11.30pm and recorded music until midnight.

From the moment we first visited Countryside Events, I knew it was something truly special, but our wedding day exceeded even my highest expectations. Having a lake wedding there was honestly like stepping into a dream. The setting is absolutely breathtaking, with the most romantic views across the water that created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. Kristina and Sam were incredible from start to finish. They are easily the most efficient, trustworthy and accommodating people we worked with throughout our entire wedding journey. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they handled every detail with such calm professionalism that it completely put us at ease. The facilities were beautiful and thoughtfully set up, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings while still feeling elegant and comfortable. What truly stood out, though, was the staff they went above and beyond in every way. Every single guest was looked after so well and we had countless compliments about how welcoming and attentive everyone was. Our day felt seamless, relaxed and genuinely magical and that’s entirely down to the amazing team at Countryside Events. We hired straw bales, barrels, Kilmer jars, skittles Alley and esprit marquee for a wedding party. On the day the team were polite and efficient, setting up exactly where we needed the items. Great communication from Kristina, all items delivered and collected at agreed time. Cannot fault the service we received. Gorgeous venue and great hosts! We had our wedding reception at the lake in September and had the best day. Kristina and Sam were always on hand to help during planning, set up and on the day. They had great advice and lots of hire items which helped to realise our vision. Such a great setting- would highly recommend! Gorgeous venue and great hosts! We had our dream dayWe had our dream day
We had to find a last minute venue for our wedding after covid restrictions kept hampering our day. After originally wanting a woodland ceremony and not being able to find a venue, we stumbled across this place. They were immediately happy to help and made us feel at ease . We had our dream day and it was so beautiful in the woodland. The team were really relaxed and helped us out to get everything all sorted, all last minute as well. Kristina and Sam are absolutely amazing and done amazing job in making my wedding day so special. the bar was brilliant. really reasonable prices to. I could not of asked for more from them at all. The venue was absolutely beautiful. The bell tent we hired from them was perfect and the attention to detail was WOW. If your looking for a beautiful setting for your wedding then there is no place but here. again thankyou so much for your hard work in helping making my day perfect.Kristina and Sam are absolutely amazing and done amazing job in making my wedding day so special. the bar was brilliant. really reasonable prices to. My daughter's recent wedding took place on the side of the lake at Rood Ashton, a totally idyllic spot, we had games for the children and used the local Marquee company as suggested by Kristina of Countryside Events. A brilliant service from all the staff, I cannot thank them all enough it's a big Craig Revell-Horwood FAB-U-LOUS!! from me.My daughter's recent wedding took place on the side of the lake at Rood Ashton, a totally idyllic spot, we had games for the children and used the local Marquee company as suggested by Kristina of Countryside Events. We had booked this for our wedding next year, unfortunately we were forced to cancel due to unexpected change in circumstances. Kristina was extremely helpful and thoughtful when sorting our cancellation. When we viewed the field her and her brother were amazing at bringing our ideas to life, really lovely people and certainly know you could trust them to make your special day amazing.
