A stunning location for a wedding.

Fantastic grounds that are very well kept by the groundsmen. We were there this weekend and I've never been to a better venue for a wedding. There's an orangery where the service took place before we moved outdoors in the glorious sunshine. The fabulous staff served us food and drink whilst we enjoyed the occasion. Later we moved to the main dining area where the food was great. A finer place for a wedding you will not find.

Amazing venue

I can think of no better place to have had my wedding than this venue. I genuinely run out of superlatives to describe this establishment. Amazing, dedicated staff and quality food. Breathtaking grounds, beautiful lakes and fabulous gardens.

Perfect venue

Combermere Abbey was the wedding perfect venue for us as a couple. We were searching for somewhere that felt private and secluded, but was an open space which brought the outside into the ceremony itself. We married outside in the centre of the fruit maze in the brilliant April sunshine, and the backdrop to our wedding was perfect. The staff were extremely attentive, particularly as ours was the first wedding following recent renovations, and this ensured that the day ran extremely smoothly.

What a beautiful place, we attended a wedding here that was stunning, from the sunroom where the service was conducted to the pavilion where we ate, service was silver service and the people that performed it were fantastic.

The best day of our lives!!

We had our wedding at the stunningly beautiful Combermere Abbey on 18th August 2023! The day was perfect from start to finish! We can’t thank the staff enough, especially Lucinda who was great the whole the way through the planning process and on the day! Combermere Abbey is just a beautiful venue, it was so amazing to say our vows in the gorgeous glasshouse ❤️

You should be very proud of your venue

Wedding gigs can be very stressful due to everybody wanting everything to go smoothly for the Bride and Groom and their guests. Your staff did an absolutely brilliant job in ensuring everyone had a stress free night and they really made everyone there feel valued and their priority. They were very friendly and made us very welcome, but at all times they were extremely professional and brilliant ambassadors for Combermere Abbey. You should be very proud of your venue, but mostly of your staff.

Exactly as I had dreamt

As soon as we walked through into the walled garden at Combermere Abbey, we knew it was where we wanted to hold our wedding. It is simply perfection, the maze, the walled garden, the lake and abbey - just like a fairytale. The run up to our wedding was complicated by Covid (as so many others were) and the team at Combermere went above and beyond to ensure we still had our dream day. I wouldn’t have changed a thing - the sun even came out and shone on us as we said our I do’s. All our guests commented on what a wonderful wedding it was and how fantastic the staff were. Would 100% recommend Combermere Abbey and their amazing team. Wish I could do it all over again! Thank you so much!

Truly magical wedding

From the open day to the wedding Combermere abbey were amazing. Helped with anything I needed and made sure the day ran so smoothly, as a bride you don’t have to worry about anything at all. Stefan the front of house was brilliant, he is a great asset. Wish I could do it all over again!!
