Cogges Manor Farm

It is important to us that your wedding is as individual as you are. As Cogges is a dry hire venue, the choices of catering, furniture or decoration are yours to make. We have contacts with many local suppliers who can help you plan your wedding as you want it. However, you have the freedom to work with any supplier, caterer or entertainer you choose. Your wedding hire includes adjoining Wheat & Barley barns, both of which have a civil marriage license so you can hold your wedding ceremony in either. The walled, grassed area and covered canopy immediately outside are for your sole use. The stunning and spacious Wheat Barn can seat up to 180 guests, and portable heating (if needed) is included in the cost of hire. The more intimate and adjacent Barley Barn makes a perfect ceremony space, seating up to 140, or an ideal choice for a ceilidh or the bar. After the ceremony, your reception and party can be held in one (or both) of the barns or spread outside onto the lawn. Music must cease at 11pm, as specified under the terms of our premises license, and guests and suppliers must be off site by midnight. You and your guests have the freedom to enjoy the entire Farm, which extends to just under 18 acres. Cogges has many perfect locations for your wedding photographs, such as the manor house lawn, the walled garden or the orchard and you can even include the farm animals in your photos. There is a woodland area and meadows, and beautiful sunsets too. Cogges farm and grounds is open to the public until 5pm, after which time you will have exclusive use of the site. The barns and courtyard frontage is reserved for your sole use. We would be happy to quote for sole us of the entire site for the whole day on request.
