The day was literally perfect!Dear Sandra, We are just sitting on the train to Edinburgh with a bottle of champagne and I wanted to say thank you so much for all your help organising a truly amazing day. The day was literally perfect and that was thanks massively to the amazing work of you and your team, we are so grateful. From the moment we arrived everyone was so helpful and attentive and helped think of every detail we may have missed or not thought about. Poppy and Danielle on the day were brilliant and took care of absolutely everything, and the night Porter Tom was an absolute hero helping us out with loads of last minute things or a late night glass of wine to settle the nerves. If you could let the whole team know how grateful we are that would be amazing. Thanks again and I’m sure we’ll be staying in the lodge again in the future to celebrate some anniversaries. All the staff at the hotel have been so helpful in helping us plan, reschedule, re plan and tweak our arrangements. We finally had our reception this weekend and I can only say that we had the most amazing afternoon/evening. Our guests have all said they haven’t been to a better party in years. The food was amazing, staff were fantastic and you can’t beat the setting!We originally booked a 2020 date back in September 2018, but of course since then, a lot has changed. The fact you can book all the rooms is a huge bonus. The main draw to the venue is the location, we have some stunning photos with the cathedral as a back drop. The gardens are beautifully kept.
