The Bartle Hall Estate is the only wedding venue to offer both a Country House AND Coaching Barn in one location, set in 16 acres of private woodland. Each wedding is exclusive use, allowing each couple & their guests a diverse choice of areas for all elements of your wedding day.
Our wedding co-ordinators guide you through your wedding planning journey, from timings to recommended supplier - ensuring that your each wedding is delivered to the taste of each couple. Standards are of the upmost importance to all of our team, meaning you and your guests can relax and enjoy your special day to the fullest.

We would like to say a huge thank you to each and every person involved in making our day as magical as it was, from our very first meeting to the day itself. The wedding day itself was magical, it felt like a fairytale, and that’s all thanks to the team at Bartle. The day ran seamlessly, nothing was ever too much trouble and we were really taken care of. We knew from the moment we walked through the doors on our first visit, that this was our dream venue. Being handed that first welcome drink, the staff couldn't do more for you to make sure you felt like your day is as exclusive and special as possible. The planning process was explained to us simply, with regular meetings to discuss our requirements and pay off the wedding in regular installments. We honestly couldn't have asked for more on our wedding day, the whole weekend was perfect from start to finish. Every guest was soo impressed with the stunning venue and the staff were soo attentive, nothing was ever too much trouble. Bartle was the perfect backdrop to our special day, so thank you once again to the whole team for making it a weekend to remember!We booked Bartle Hall for our wedding day. It was better than we could have imagined from start to finish. Sorry we didn’t get to see you on the day, but it’s testament to your meticulous work in the lead up to it that we didn’t need anything from Meg and the girls checking in at Thicket Lodge the night before, to breakfast the morning after, it was incredible and we will never forget it. Especially Rebecca’s help saving my skin when I forgot the print outs of the reading and bride’s dad’s speech!!So many guests complemented us on the day and the venue and how well everything went. So much of that is down to the whole Bartle Hall team who were amazing. Thank you to Ritchie who was there for anything and everything we needed on the day, including help sterilise baby bottles! All the staff involved in the wedding breakfast and evening couldn’t have been more helpful either. The venue itself was stunning as it always has been any time we’ve visited since we booked. Can’t believe we won’t see it again, apart from maybe a visit with Evelyn to say thank you to everybody! It really is a beautiful place and will be top of our list should anyone ever ask us for a wedding venue recommendation. We will forever be grateful for how much of a part the whole Bartle Hall team played in making the biggest day of our lives be the best day of our lives. The girls and I had the loveliest night in Thicket Lodge and then everything was so seamless the next day. The venue, the food, the party - it was just everything we could have dreamed of! What is your venue's most unique feature?
The fact we have both a Country House and Barn so you don't have to decide between the two styles, you get to use both. This also means you don't have your meal in the same room as your ceremony.
