Licensed for ceremonies/dining for up to 100 guests (and up to 150 guests for an informal evening reception), this beautiful, characterful, affordable and versatile wedding venue, is available to hire on an exclusive-use basis. Boasting 2 large function rooms and set within extensive attractive grounds, Antrobus House provides a perfect platform and backdrop for capturing all your special moments on film.

Whether it's a larger wedding you're planning, or something smaller and more intimate, Antrobus House is a truly special place where family and friends can easily and conveniently gather together to celebrate and enjoy your big day, and create unforgettable memories to last a lifetime.

Extensively refurbished in 2019, Antrobus House provides modern facilities including new WCs and a brand new commercial kitchen with all modern appliances.

Prices quoted are for venue hire only. We do not provide in-house catering, but we can suggest a variety of superb caterers to you or you're welcome to find your own.
In our experience, having the freedom and flexibility to source your own caterer can really help to keep costs down. No expensive or restrictive set menus bumping up the price.

We were the first couple to be legally married inside the house, which gave us great honour. From the first day of meeting Catherine (the Business Manager), she made us feel very welcome and comfortable, planning every step with us and with a constant supply of information to help our choices on things we hadn't even thought of ourselves. With restrictions due to COVID this meant reorganising a lot of things including the date of wedding itself and reducing our numbers. This did not worry Catherine and she made sure we were kept updated. There is nothing more that Catherine and the team could have done to make the day any more special than it was. We would highly recommend having a wedding or event here, to anyone in and around Amesbury. The freshly refurbished house and well maintained grounds just add to how lovely Antrobus House is as a whole. Catherine helped us organise our wedding in 8 weeks, assisting us with pretty much everything! When the Covid rules changed and weddings opened up but not fully, Catherine worked with us to ensure we could host a perfect wedding for 30 day guests and 75 evening guests whilst keeping everyone safe. The day ran smoothly and the lawn was a proper sun trap, so the House looked awesome and everyone had the best day. The bar ran table service and were incredibly efficient, making sure everyone had drinks and I never had an empty glass thanks to the fantastic bar staff. I would hugely recommend this venue. It is amazing value for money, and with Catherine's help you will have nothing to worry about in making sure you have the perfect wedding day. We got in touch with the venue manager and she showed us around the venue and was very warm and engaging. The building and grounds are lovely, clean and well kept. But the cherry on top is the brilliant and kind Catherine who manages Antrobus House. We trusted her experience and decided to book the venue for our wedding reception. All communication was promptly responded to throughout the nearly 18 months it took us with wedding planning (pandemic causing havoc) and Catherine supported us through our wedding plans A, B and C! We gave Catherine the details of all the vendors who needed access to the venue and she made it all happen. She was hands-on with helping us decorate the venue the day before, and helped us with taking decorations down the day after. On the day we had the most fab time, the venue was decorated so beautifully, everything ran like clock work and all our guests had the most amazing day.
