Antrobus House

What an amazing venue! We had such a lovely day at my daughter Emma and Dan’s wedding on Saturday 26/6/21. We were looked after so well and every body worked so hard from the venue staff to the caterers.

Antrobus House was our first choice for our big day as it's sentimental to us having had many family wedding celebrations take place there over the years. We were the first couple to be legally married inside the house, which gave us great honour. From the first day of meeting Catherine (the Business Manager), she made us feel very welcome and comfortable, planning every step with us and with a constant supply of information to help our choices on things we hadn't even thought of ourselves. With restrictions due to COVID this meant reorganising a lot of things including the date of wedding itself and reducing our numbers. This did not worry Catherine and she made sure we were kept updated. There is nothing more that Catherine and the team could have done to make the day any more special than it was. We would highly recommend having a wedding or event here, to anyone in and around Amesbury. The freshly refurbished house and well maintained grounds just add to how lovely Antrobus House is as a whole. Thankyou to Catherine and the team for making our wedding day one to remember, we will forever be thankful.

Not only is Antrobus House a beautiful venue with a stunning ceremony room and amazing lawn, but the manager, Catherine, is simply incredible. Catherine helped us organise our wedding in 8 weeks, assisting us with pretty much everything! When the Covid rules changed and weddings opened up but not fully, Catherine worked with us to ensure we could host a perfect wedding for 30 day guests and 75 evening guests whilst keeping everyone safe. The day ran smoothly and the lawn was a proper sun trap, so the House looked awesome and everyone had the best day. The bar ran table service and were incredibly efficient, making sure everyone had drinks and I never had an empty glass thanks to the fantastic bar staff. I would hugely recommend this venue. It is amazing value for money, and with Catherine's help you will have nothing to worry about in making sure you have the perfect wedding day. Amazing venue! We booked it for our wedding that unfortunately got postponed twice due to COVID so was 3rd time lucky! Catherine, the Business Manager, was a superstar. She looked after us from day one and made sure we had everything in place to make our day run smoothly. She really does go above and beyond especially in these crazy times and having to ensure we were COVID secure. Such a beautiful venue and grounds - we cannot thank Catherine and the Team enough! ❤️🤩

Antrobus House hosted our wedding and it was simply the most amazing experience from start to finish. The House is beautiful and well equipped. Catherine, the manager is just amazing - nothing was too much trouble and she helped us decorate, clear down and organise things we had forgotten or not thought of. The bar team were also fantastic and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you to everyone who made the day go perfectly!

Antrobus House was recommended to us by our wedding caterer when he heard that we were struggling to find a venue that was well kept and affordable. We got in touch with the venue manager and she showed us around the venue and was very warm and engaging. The building and grounds are lovely, clean and well kept. But the cherry on top is the brilliant and kind Catherine who manages Antrobus House. We trusted her experience and decided to book the venue for our wedding reception. All communication was promptly responded to throughout the nearly 18 months it took us with wedding planning (pandemic causing havoc) and Catherine supported us through our wedding plans A, B and C! We gave Catherine the details of all the vendors who needed access to the venue and she made it all happen. She was hands-on with helping us decorate the venue the day before, and helped us with taking decorations down the day after. On the day we had the most fab time, the venue was decorated so beautifully, everything ran like clock work and all our guests had the most amazing day.

We were able to use the large Edmund Hall for 10 of us to have a socially-distanced sit down lunch. Catherine, the Business Manager, could not have been more kind and helpful. A beautiful venue. Outside space, weather permitting and car parking on site. It’s beautifully decorated and the facilities are excellent.
