Morning Clair Just wanted to thank you for everything . But also thank all the staff for being so amazing on Sunday it was absolutely perfect . Freya was wonderful . Everyone worked so hard and we are very happy how it all went . Apart from a lost earring and pen it was all just as we’d hoped for . Feel a bit sad it’s now done but off to Thailand today! Thank you to you and your staff for making our Wedding so special. The Ceremony Room and the Reception Room looked amazing. From the moment we arrived at Abbey Hill your staff were so and helpful, professional and attentive. The food throughout was excellent and many of our guests made a point of saying how much they enjoyed the food. We felt really comfortable in the venue and thank you again x

Hi Clair, We just wanted to say a huge thank you to yourself and the whole team. From start to finish the communication and attention to detail has been second to none. Everyone has said how organised the day was from start to end and was ran with such care and precision. We felt so looked after and respected. All the staff were amazing! We will leave you a glowing review and I will send you some photos over when i receive them. Thank you again for making our special day even more special.

We would just like to say a Big Thank You to Freya, who oversaw the event on the day, DJ Chris Mayhew and the rest of the Abbey Hill team that ensured our Wedding Day was so enjoyable. Everyone that we spoke to on the day, or since, have had nothing but good comments about Abbey Hill and the team of staff that made the day such a success. The dressing of the venue added to the sense of occasion. The food was superb with particular praise being given to the Braised Beef, which simply melted in the mouth. The way the food was delivered promptly and one table at a time ensured I had no complaints about people having to wait for their food. The bar staff were equally professional. The DJ’s choice of music was accurately targeted to his audience and, despite it being a hot evening, had most people dancing on the dance floor at one point or another. Chris’s ‘photo booth’ was also a popular feature and it was great to have an album of fun pictures of our guests, together with their digital images, to take home at the end of the day, which we will treasure. The crazy ‘Pirate’ golf also proved popular and was one of the facilities that caused us to select Abbey Hill over other more ‘historic’ venues. Being within easy walking distance of a good Hotel was another important factor. Praise must go to your staff who chauffeured our more elderly guests to and from the Hotel, via golf buggies, which was most unexpected and appreciated. The ‘Wedding’ golf buggy proved not only ‘cute’ but practical when we were being driven to different scenic back drops for our ‘couples’ photographs and added to our enjoyment of the day. Finally, praise must go to you for organising and managing the event for us. For guiding us through the process and accommodating our wishes where possible. You and your staff have done Abbey Hill proud. We will certainly be recommending Abbey Hill to family and friends for future events. Many thanks, Jane and Alan
