“I entered the wedding industry after my wife and I struggled to find a venue for our wedding. So, I decided to build one myself! For three hectic, crazy months, my old factory workspace transformed—layer upon layer, like a storybook—into a magical place of romance, built with passion and love. That’s how Clapton Country Club was born. We were the first to marry here in September 2015, a day I’ll never forget. With its rich history and industrial-chic charm, our space was lovingly transformed from an old factory using ethically sourced, recycled materials.
What sets us apart? The atmosphere, the history, and the heart. We offer more than just a stunning backdrop; we provide an unforgettable experience, complete with exceptional in-house catering and a personal touch that makes every wedding feel special. Another standout was a fabulous gay wedding where the couple had a drag artist and a hula hoop performer. It was such a unique touch that really made the day stand out. The vibe was so playful, and the intimate nature of the wedding allowed for everyone to truly embrace the quirky, fun side of things. It was one of the most enjoyable celebrations I’ve been a part of!”
