Whether you're planning a sophisticated elopement, a small ceremony, or a marquee reception with up to 50 guests, this venue combines natural beauty with convenient access to town amenities.

Beautiful Outdoor Ceremony and Reception Spaces

All weddings here take place outdoors, allowing you and your guests to fully enjoy the stunning landscape. You can choose from:

• The Lawn: A spacious, sweeping lawn ideal for your ceremony, with a designated area for a reception marquee accommodating up to 50 guests.
• The Deck: A large deck featuring a charming gazebo, perfect for smaller ceremonies of 40 to 50 guests. It offers incredible views of the river and canyon, and serves as a covered backup location if the weather turns.

Please note, indoor lodge spaces are not available for receptions. Events can run until 10:30 pm, with all guests required to leave by 11:00 pm.

If you’re dreaming of a private, unforgettable ceremony, The Canyons B&B offers special elopement packages. These often include a helicopter ride to a nearby mountaintop, where you can say “I do” with panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu and the Southern Alps—a perfect way to make your wedding day extraordinary.

On-Site Accommodation for Your Wedding Party

The venue provides limited, exclusive accommodation to keep your wedding day seamless and comfortable. Two Superior Rooms are available, accommodating up to four members of your wedding party—ideal for getting ready in style. Additionally, there is a separate Deluxe Chalet on the property for added convenience.
