The room was a little in the small side, but with so much to do in the area it didn't matter at all. The lake view rooms have a lovely view of the lake and mountains. Despite being on the main road, traffic noise wasn't too bad. Even with the balcony door open. The bed was comfortable, staff friendly and very helpful - even providing a bucket for me when I was unwell our first night. The breakfast buffet was great.Cannot fault this hotel on anything. Our room had a wonderful view and the restaurant served delicious meals. We ran into issues with a room booked and friends arriving from Auckland during the cyclone. Their flights were cancelled . Parv was wonderful to deal with and helped us with everything professionally and to our extreme satisfaction. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. We had a fantastic relaxing stay and the location was great. Thanks again Parv for all your help!We had a great experience at this property. The front staff as well as management is extremely accommodative and hospitality given to customers is top-class. The rooms are extremely comfortable and views are so much enjoyable. They were cleaning it daily. The staff were incredible and very helpful during my stay. This hotel is a 2km walk from the city center if you walk by the Lake Wakatipu. You can also take the bus. For me that's a close distance and not far away. But it's important for people to know this. The breakfast was delicious but it was always the same options daily. My room had an amazing lakeview, it was very comfortable, big and beautiful. They were cleaning it daily. The staff were incredible and very helpful during my stay. This hotel is a 2km walk from the city center if you walk by the Lake Wakatipu. You can also take the bus. For me that's a close distance and not far away. But it's important for people to know this.
