While the hotel's historical charm is evident, there's no denying that it is in dire need of some upgrades to match modern standards. Upon our arrival on the afternoon of October 13, 2023, the check-in experience was less than stellar. The staff at the check-in desk seemed disinterested and could probably use some customer service training.We stayed at the Lord Nelson in October for a wedding.
