For a wine country wedding, our partnership with the Prince of Wales Hotel means you’ll be receiving a luxury dining experience including table settings and furniture for a supremely elegant event. At The Hare, we’re able to offer you the benefits of a hotel venue and all of its amenities but in a unique location, making it the perfect Niagara venue for your special day. At The Hare we’re available to host weddings in our beautiful, rustic winery, providing a distinct experience for up to 130 guests. We are partnered with Vintage Hotels, which allows us to provide full-service weddings in our amazing setting. What time can I start setting up décor?
The Hare staff is responsible for setting up the chairs and tables, and this will be completed before 4pm. After 4pm, the Prince of Wales team will begin setting the tableware, and you may also start setting up your décor.
In some cases, chairs may be set up prior to 4pm, which may allow you to begin décor setup earlier as well.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate for our outdoor ceremony?
All outdoor ceremony bookings include a designated indoor backup space in case of inclement weather. Please note that the specific backup room may vary depending on event logistics and availability.
Can I have my dance floor in the courtyard?
Yes, you may have your dance floor in the courtyard; however, it must be moved indoors before 11pm. Due to the Niagara-on-the-Lake noise by-law, all outdoor music must be turned down by 11pm. Music may continue indoors after this time.
Can we bring in our own food or drinks?
Outside beverages and alcohol are not permitted.
Third-party food vendors may be used only for late-night snacks and the bridal suite.
Wedding cakes or cupcakes are permitted from vendors
Any other specialty catering requests are subject to request and approval
