Jeff and Sandy, and their sons Kyle and Mitchell, along with close family and friends were instrumental in the brainstorming and back breaking job of turning a wet, unproductive piece of land, into a unique, private and picturesque setting and unprecedented as an outdoor wedding venue! The Clearing is a breathtaking acre, naturally set within a 30 acre hardwood lot. Rather than being set with the task of bringing nature into your setting with potted plants and greenery, your ceremony and reception will be genuinely infused with trees and natural gardens, where wildlife and nature abound. The Clearings' marriage to all that makes it stress free and convenient, has been a thoughtful, slow immersion. Our task was never to come up with something spectacular. Our task, from the beginning, was to make the space accessible and serene without undoing the grandness that originally drew us here. Our wedding packages are built for the perfect combination of planning ease and customization.Our premium wedding packages include: Enchanted forest ceremony space with bench seating Tent to accommodate over 200 guests Use of grounds for engagement photos (must get venue approval on date and time) Modern and elegant washroom facilitates Venue coordination meetings Bartending services (alcohol additional charge) ​

    The Clearing is such a beautiful wedding venue. We had a rainy wedding there, and the owners were so helpful and accommodating. They have a gorgeous, well landscaped clearing in the trees and a beautiful big clear tent for a rainy day option for couples.     We couldn't have pictured a more beautiful place to get married. The Clearing is a breathtaking venue, from the moment we walked in we knew that we had to be married there. The owners are two of the best people you will meet and you can tell how much they truly care about making your wedding day the best it can be.
