The natural beauty of Silver Lakes, nestled along the meandering Holland River, will take your breath away. Mature forests of oak, maple, birch and ash are a stunning backdrop to our quiet lakes and rolling hills.
Get ready in our elegant private Bridal Suite with light bites and champagne on ice. Yours is the only wedding so you can relax and take your time - Silver Lakes is yours for the day. For the groom and groomsmen the Lakes Lounge is the perfect hideaway to calm the nerves and relax with a drink before the ceremony begins. Make the most of those quiet moments and capture memories to last a lifetime.
You can have your ceremony outdoors along the water’s edge of Blue Heron Meadow, followed by an outdoor cocktail party with hand-passed hors d’oeuvres at our lakeside Pavilion and summer lounge, the Birch Bar. Create a storybook wedding album by taking advantage of our stunning views on the Meadow or enjoy nibbles and cold drinks on our vintage cocktail trolley while taking photos at our beautifully restored Pump House and adjacent Memory Garden.
Let us toast the happy couple with some bubbly. Our Executive Chef has prepared a fabulous meal for you and your guests. We offer plenty of choice but can further customize the menu to your individual needs. Just ask, we are at your service.
After the first dance you can catch a breath of fresh air on the Terrace and finally take a moment to yourselves while your guests continue to dance the night away. Don’t forget to cut the cake! And what wedding would be complete without late night bites to keep the party going.

They served us these amazing cocktails at The Birch which is located on their grounds, beautiful!!! The food served at the reception after was so delicious and the presentation was impressive!!! Nothing disappointed. It was a perfect day and Silver Lakes helped make that day extra special!!! Lots of care and extra attention to detail went into every aspect of the day. What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Delegate! On your special day, you want to be as stress free as possible. In order to do this, consider giving special jobs to people you trust on your wedding day. For example, the Maid of Honour may be in-charge of keeping the bride and groom's phones, taking some candid shots during the day so the couple could look back on the day right away instead of having to wait until the professional photo proofs get delivered!
What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?
A couple had created their own wedding day newspaper that they printed-out and had placed at each table setting so their guests could read a little bit about their love story and what to expect for the day ahead.
Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?
The best photo spot at our venue is at The Birch, our outdoor event venue, against the backdrop of one of our many (16!) lakes on the property. Yu can also get some amazing shots on any of our 18 holes, which are surrounded by picturesque, natural backdrops.
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
For a delicious late-night bite- and the perfect pair to a night of partying, we suggest giving a try to our in-house made poutine and slider station! If you have a sweet tooth, our late-night candy station is also always a hit!

Our venue's most unique feature is our outdoor event space, The Birch. It is perfectly set-up for an outdoor cocktail hour following a ceremony. It is right on the water, and fully-equipped with a working bar and kitchen for signature drinks and hors-d'œuvres to be enjoyed at your guests' convenience!
