The staff was helpful and friendly, and the cafe was pleasant with good food that wasn't terribly overpriced. Vegetarian selections available. All their exhibits were interactive and super cool... more modern then historical civilization. Nothing like the Ottawa museum if you compare. Our little ones enjoyed the petite masion in the basement. Since we were the only ones there on a Tuesday morning, it felt like we booked the whole place to ourselves in the basement. We got to take lots of pictures and really enjoyed every part of the museum. Clean and quiet. My family had a great time strolling and enjoying the exhibits that were open. The basement level had the most interesting exhibition tailored for kids and exploration. Even as adults, you can enjoy it. Learning about some of Québec past through a kid's perspectives.
