Lumina Weddings
Lumina has a romantic lawn, a perfect spot for an outdoor wedding ceremony with a spectacular Muskoka landscape as background. You have exclusive use of the property and the grounds, so you can pick your ideal spot. For your wedding ceremony, you’ll have to provide:
- The wedding arch
- Chairs
- Tables
- Linens
- Decorations
Receptions usually begin with cocktail hour on the patio with a fully staffed bar offering an excellent selection of wines, beers, and soft drinks. The capacity is around 150 guests, but it depends on the floor plan.
Wedding dinners follow cocktail receptions and typically include three-course dinners with soups, salads, mains, and desserts, late-night snacks, and children's options. The chef at Lumina can customize the menu according to your preferences and needs.
Accommodation at Lumina Resort
Lumina offers 36 chalet cottages and a main lodge for your guests for the wedding weekend. Luckily, the resort has special wedding group booking rates and discounts to fit various budgets.
Depending on your chosen itinerary, you can combine services and get a custom quote. For example, you can begin the wedding weekend with a buffet dinner on Friday night and cover the dinner expenses, or leave it to your guests to pay alongside their accommodation rate.

The 2-day experience is the only way to do it, with everyone staying at the location in their own cozy cottages in the Muskoka's, right on the water with so much to do.
