Attended for a wedding. The setting was nice. The dinner was excellent.

Attended a wedding here. I was disappointed by the attentiveness, couth, and punctuality of the wedding planner. The space was nice enough but it was not sparkling clean and there were leaks in the ceiling. However, the buffet meal made up for the disappointments and was very tasty.

Richard and all the other staff are hard working and very helpful. They are professional and friendly. The rooms could use some updating, but, still comfortable and the scenery and lake are beautiful. We attended a wedding here and the food was very delicious. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

We recently had our (large) wedding at Hidden Valley and were very pleased with the results. We used the Muskoka and Birches restaurant spaces and loved the cozy atmosphere, great views, and comfortable seating available. Overall we found them to be helpful and accommodating and appreciated their quick response time. Had some minor issues with contract price changes but they were resolved as expected. The food was very good and they did a great job serving it to so many guests.

This hotel was a wonderful wedding venue. We were so impressed with the facilities with indoor and outdoor pools, beach with kayaks, canoes and paddle boards. The children had so much fun. The Muskoka room has such a nice viewing the deck is large and perfect for a reception. The food was excellent and the staff were helpful, and responsive. Price for the 2 nights as part of the wedding block with early booking was reasonable. The hotel is older but all of the above made that irrelevant to us.

We visited for a wedding, and the staff were very nice, especially in the restaurant. The room was quiet and comfortable. You could tell this place is an older hotel, but it was clean. There is no elevator, so dragging luggage up and down the stairs was a bit tough. Be sure to specify if you need an accessible room on the 2nd floor (which is the ground floor). There is also a $30 amenities fee on top of the cost of the room, so keep that in mind when booking. Overall, I give it 4/5 stars.
