Church & State Wines is an estate and wedding venue located in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia. It is an ideal and beautiful location for both big and small gatherings. Church & State is known for its West Coast architecture and wraparound veranda, which allows guests to truly get to enjoy the vineyard. It is a short 15 minutes from the Victoria International Airport and only 20 minutes from Victoria.Facilities and CapacityThe main hall can seat up to 250 guests. There are also lounge areas on the facility's outer decks. Ceremonies can take place outdoors, either by the large natural pond or on the hillside plateau that overlooks the vineyards. In the case of poor weather, there is also an indoor option.Services OfferedTheir beautiful winery strives to make the wedding planning process as stress-free as possible for the couple. They offer a number of services to help the couple feel at ease throughout the months leading up to their special day. At their winery, they offer ceremony-only packages, ceremony and reception packages, as well as reception-only packages. Church & State is equipped with plenty of wedding-day amenities for both ceremonies and receptions. These menus include:- Served Hors d’Oeuvres - Reception Platters - Plated Dinner Service - Family-Style Dinner Service - Food Stations - Desserts - Late Night Snacks - **The Bride and Groom are welcome to bring in a wedding cake from outside, professionally licensed source Other ServicesChurch & State Wines has a full time, year-round Events Manager, whose role is not limited to, but includes the following: answering any and all questions and inquiries, meeting with potential and current wedding clients, assisting the Bride and Groom in selecting a menu, coordinating with the Kitchen, aiding in formulating a bar service plan, assisting in creating a workable table layout, ordering all necessary linens and rentals, and organizing and directing all service staff for the wedding.Their Events Manager will also organize a team to set up the tables, chairs, linens and place settings for all weddings, as well as all required teardown at the end of the event. The Events Manager will be present on the day-of the wedding to accept deliveries, meet with incoming vendors, and ensure that all venue-related concerns are addressed immediately.During the wedding, guests are welcome to wander among the vineyards, play lawn games outside, or take photos anywhere on the property. Our winery has a beautiful, wrap-around, covered and heated veranda overlooking the entire vineyard.
