Cellar by Stella is a Stella Venue, part of the Downtown Series Venue Portfolio.
Welcome to our village - the highly sought-after historic wedding destination nestled in the heart of one of the oldest towns in Southwestern Ontario. Your guests will be pleased to make a getaway out of your wedding weekend, exploring what St. Jacobs has to offer. Built in 1852, our fully-renovated building was once an old lodging hotel- one of the original Stage Coach Inns in the area. Now, we're the perfect canvas for you and your guests to celebrate your new favourite day with you.
This is the flagship venue- Stella's first- with everything you could possibly need and more. We want you to spend your whole day with us, getting ready and creating memories from start to finish. We want our in-house coordination team to bring your vision to life after working with you months in advance to understand your dream. We want our catering partner to fuel those dancing feet and have guests raving about what they tasted for days, weeks, or even years after. We want you to love our venue as much as we do.
Cellar doesn't just get the Stella treatment- it gets the 'I was here first' treatment. This venue holds a special place in our hearts and is our favourite amongst the portfolio (are we allowed to say that?..)

The venue is perfectly located, it’s cozy yet spacious. The back patio is perfect, with a fireplace and coach house bar. The food was UNREAL, everyone was raving all night! Our co-ordinator made everything so seamless. She was a dream to work with - so kind, dedicated, warm, helpful. We truly couldn’t have done it without her. We love her so much!! From the beginning when we first toured, we felt taken care of and that this experience would be something special. The team really has it all locked in to make your day incredible. Throughout our year of planning, the team made sure we had everything we needed. From decor planning, menu tasting, and a few special requests- they had it on lock! The food is UNREAL, and our guests still keep commenting on how delicious it was!! We got married at Cellar 52 and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the beginning when we first toured, we felt taken care of and that this experience would be something special. The team really has it all locked in to make your day incredible. So thank you to you all for your help and support leading up to it and day of!! We got so many compliments on the venue and it was the perfect size. Future couples are in amazing hands 🤍🤍🤍My husband and I got married at Cellar 52 in May and I mean it when I say the entire day went PERFECT and it’s all thanks to our amazing coordinator Anisha and the Stella team 🤍🤍 We couldn’t be more happy with the team and venue we chose! There were approx 100 guests, with a riverside ceremony that carried onto Cellar 52's outdoor patio for cocktail hour, with hors d'oeuvres being served. The food was absolutely incredible. Washrooms were accessible with baskets of essential items any guest may need. Lots of FREE parking. A definite place to consider for a retirement, anniversary, birthday, baby or wedding shower or wedding reception.I attended a family wedding, and this is where the cocktail hour and the reception were held. There were approx 100 guests, with a riverside ceremony that carried onto Cellar 52's outdoor patio for cocktail hour, with hors d'oeuvres being served. The food was absolutely incredible.
