Cedar Meadows provides ceremony and reception organization and features a dedicated team of event organizers and service staff. 

Wedding Ceremony at Cedar Meadows

Cedar Meadows is a venue in Timmins with lovely grounds and a dedicated area for your romantic ceremony. For the guest seating, you can choose between white patio chairs and white folding chairs, available for rental.

Two options are available for the ceremony:

• Outdoor Gazebo: Set in a beautiful lush garden and lined with fresh flowers
• Chapel: Suitable for intimate wedding ceremonies under 60 people

Wedding Reception at Cedar Meadows

There are several reception rooms at Cedar Meadows:

• Salon Cartier: Stunning event space with high ceilings, wood beams and plenty of natural light; includes dance floor; capacity: 100 – 120 people with a dance floor (120 – 140 without dance floor); rental price includes: set up and tear down of the hall, staff, chairs, tables, white tablecloths, napkins, cutlery and glassware
• Salon Cabot: Intimate space for up to 20 people
• Salon Marguerite Bourgeois: The hall on the main floor with lovely interior; capacity: 20 – 24 people in various seating arrangements
• Salon Louis Riel: Another intimate reception room with a bright and cozy interior; capacity: 10 – 15 people

Alternatively, you can rent a tent for an outdoor wedding reception.

Food and Beverages at Cedar Meadows 

Cedar Meadows caters to different wedding styles with several food options:

• Buffet dinner
• Plated meal
• Hors d'oeuvres reception
• Platters and food bars

The Silver and platinum buffets are available for weddings with over 30 guests. The typical inclusions are:

• Two platters
• Two salads
• Two starch options
• Two main courses
• Dessert table

Plated menus are available for weddings with a minimum of 30 people, indoors. The dinner contains appetizers, entrees and desserts, served with bread, butter, freshly brewed coffee and tea.

For your cocktail reception, the venue recommends between 8 and 15 hours of oeuvres per person, depending on the party's duration. Expect offerings such as Artichoke Spinach Dip Crostini, Panko Coconut Shrimp, Thai Sauce and Chicken Satay, and Mango BBQ Glaze. 

Platters and food stations are cheese selection, charcuterie, antipasti, vegetable crudites, fresh fruit, sandwiches, dumplings and dessert table.

Beverages at Cedar Meadows are served as part of the cash or host bar. If you choose a cash bar option, you are required to pay a bartender's fee.

Accommodation

Cedar Meadows has a range of accommodation units, ranging from modern rooms to cozy chalets and business rooms. There are suites for families and a deluxe suite with a Jacuzzi tub you can rent for your wedding night.
