Our venue spaces offer unique atmospheres to suit your vision. The Rainforest Ballroom provides a spacious and elegant indoor setting, ideal for seated receptions and larger gatherings. The Wine Cellar—our most popular wedding venue—features breathtaking ocean views overlooking the dramatic surge channel and is ideal for seated dinners of up to 45 guests or cocktail-style receptions for up to 75 guests.

All of the staff (event, food, service, etc) were accommodating, responsive, flexible, kind, and genuinely cared about our big day. For a small wedding (36 total), the Wine Cellar was a perfect fit. The price was fair for our package deal, and our guests who stayed at the resort had nothing bad to say about the event or their rooms. The only hiccup was that the event coordinator (from Black Rock) we had been working with since before we put down our initial deposit (a year out) left the job about 2-3 weeks before the wedding day. It was a bit stressful having to catch a new staff member up to speed, and only having a new staff member present on the day of the wedding. However, we saw that they did the very best they could, and no major issues resulted from the less experienced staff. The planning experience was great, as Antonia (our original coordinator) and Emily were very responsive and offered helpful suggestions/insights. The food was phenomenal, so huge shout-out to the restaurant staff! While it was pricey to stay at the resort, and our package required a minimum stay for guests, 98% of our guests were happy to stay at the resort, so we didn't have to worry about hitting our minimum room allotment. Guests found it a great opportunity to splurge on accommodations, especially since booking so far in advance let them pick their rooms at reasonable prices (prices go up as the date gets closer). Our package came with a spa credit ($10 per guest), so we treated ourselves to full body massages the following day. Those were an added treat (and I highly recommend), but remember to book in advance! The views at the Pacific Spirit suite were straight out of a movie. It was incredible! We had our welcome dinner and wedding reception in the wine cellar. The wine cellar was the most magical and intimate venue. The food was top notch! We had appies the first evening and buffet for the wedding reception. All of our guests rant and raved about how good the food was. I’m still thinking about it ! The chef was so amazing and accommodating to all of our guests with allergies , and the food was cooked to perfection. Our bartenders were also awesome, making our signature drinks exactly as we imagined. The planning process with Emily and Antonia was seamless and they were super supportive with anything and everything we asked. Thanks again for making our wedding the most magical experience ! Post wedding day, Alex and I had a delightful couples massage at the drift spa. It was the perfect and most relaxing way to spend the day after our wedding. I was with my very elderly grandmother who has mobility issues, the staff were so lovely and helped her get downstairs. Staff were on standby to help her go upstairs whenever she needed. The service was superb from the moment we set foot on the resort.My friend lost her key to her luggage locks and the service staff were quick to assist with bolt cutters amongst our other small requests. Everyone had excellent recommendations whether they were hiking trails or off resort restaurants.Spa service was spectacular.Highly recommend Heidi at Drift Spa!Kristopher and Libby at the lounge were also amazing...Black Rock was amazing. Fantastic experience all around. They know hospitality. Rooms are not new, but they are clean and comfortable. Off the hook views. I could have stared out the windows all day every day. Decks are not super private. We had a neighbor on one side (left) that shared a glass rail between us. We usually had extreme rain and wind so glass of wine was enjoyed indoors so did not bother us. In 215 all views are amazing, bedroom especially so. Kitchen had everything we needed for short stay...Amazing. Stayed in the Pacific Spirit Suite room 215.
