We loved our little booth seat in the corner. The atmosphere was something in between of cozy and intimate. We did our “own tasting menu” and ordered variety of dishes including Fresh cheese & Sourdough, mushroom dumplings, avocado salad, Cornish hen (it was a brand new item on the menu, recommended by our server and it was our favourite), and steak Frites. The cheesecake was not heavy at all. Overall, it was one of the best meals I’ve had. Every ingredient shined on its own but worked so well with each other. The duck gnocchi had lots of flavour. The only feedback is that the wine by the glass only came in 5oz, and not the typical offers of 6oz or 9oz so it did not feel like we had great freedom or value on that. No espresso so you can only do french press (this did not appease the Italian ahaha). The almond cake dessert was not overly sweet which is refreshing, you can Great restaurant, smaller so it books up fast. Andrea was such a lovely server and even ensured that we were able to leave on time to make a show after! Thanks for the wonderful service! The food was INCREDIBLE. Truly, one of the most refreshing and palette-delighting meals I’ve ever had. We tried the Sample menu and had a taste of everything - no regrets!
